‘Unbothered’ Heather Rae Young claps back at trolls labeling her ‘trashy’ and ‘disgusting’

Heather Rae Young is “unbothered” by the nasty comments she receives on social media.

The “Selling Sunset” alum, 36, posted an Instagram video Tuesday showing screenshots of several mean messages she has received from trolls and body shamers.

While some haters hurled insults calling Young “trashy,” “annoying” and “phony,” others went after her appearance.

“Didn’t think that was a nice look. too flashy and sophisticated,” one person wrote on one of her posts.

“I have the same hair. Better. And real. All you are is drama,” a second troll commented.

One critic even called the former Netflix personality “disgusting.”

The video then transitioned to an adorable clip of Young dancing in a kitchen with her son, Tristan, 1, whom she shares with her husband, Tarek El Moussa.

The real estate agent wrote over the video, “Imagine hating at me and I’m just at home like…” before rolling the cute mother-son moment.

She looked cozy in an oversize plaid pajama set and black fuzzy slippers as she bounced her baby boy in her arms while cooking.

Young then took the opportunity to address the mean words she faces from strangers online almost daily.

“Social media can be a double-edged sword; while it offers connectivity and community, it also presents a platform for comparison and negativity,” she captioned the post. “However, your perspective and how you engage with it is so important.”

She continued, “I hope you guys don’t have to deal with this, but if you have I’m sending you all the love.”

The model’s followers applauded her for being strong and ignoring her malicious bullies.

“Imagine having the time to go out of your way and try to bring someone down … keep doing you,” one person commented.

“How can people hate someone they don’t even know so sad,” a second wondered.

“Are you kidding?!?! The fact that you have ‘haters’ means You’re doing something awesome! Love you guys….keep moving forward!” one follower wrote.

Young and the “Flip or Flop” alum, who tied the knot in October 2021, welcomed their first child together on Jan. 31, 2023.

“Mama & baby are happy, healthy, tired but doing well. Our hearts are so happy,” the couple wrote in a joint statement at the time.

El Moussa, 42, also shares two children — daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8 — with his ex-wife, Christina Hall.
