Sam Asghari is all smiles amid his ex-wife Britney Spears’ hotel drama.
The actor posted a “life update” via Instagram Thursday evening, which featured himself and his dog grinning on a sunny hike.
The shirtless 30-year-old wore only a baseball cap, sunglasses, gray sweats and sneakers, with his T-shirt tucked into the waistband of his pants.

While many of Asghari’s followers gushed over how “single life suits” him — including sister Maddie Asghari, who commented with heart-eye emojis — some of Spears’ fans pointed out his shady timing.
“You post[ed] this right after Britney’s post,” one Instagram user wrote.
Another added, “Timing is everything. There is no way this coincidence. @samasghari you are too classy for this. Just don’t (do it).”
Asghari’s post came after paramedics were called to the Chateau Marmont for an injured female. Sources told Page Six that friends are “concerned” for the performer’s well-being after photos emerged of the pair looking distressed outside the hotel, calling her former housekeeper “bad news.”
One insider noted that Spears returned home “safe” with her security after the incident.

The “embarrassed” singer, 42, showed her swollen ankle in a tearful video, claiming she “twisted [her] ankle” by trying “to do a leap in the living room” and falling.
The Princess of Pop also seemingly implied her mother, Lynne Spears, was involved by claiming she was “set up.”
