How Donald Trump Could Benefit From Stormy Daniels Testifying She ‘Blacked Out’ During Sex

Former adult film star Stormy Daniels has seemingly favored Donald Trump's defense by testifying that she passed out during sex with the billionaire mogul.

A legal expert who has been following the case shared that Trump's attorneys can use her statement to challenge her memory, which could then call into question her credibility as a witness in the case.

Trump is currently facing 34 counts of falsifying his business records to hide illegal payments he made to Daniels to prevent her from sharing the story of their alleged affair.

On Tuesday, Daniels was called to the stand to testify about her alleged affair with Trump, a testimony that has been anticipated due to it being central to the proceedings for the hush money trial.

The duo reportedly had a clandestine relationship in 2006, after which the former president allegedly paid Daniels $130,000 to keep her from revealing the story publicly during the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.

As part of Daniels' testimony, she recalled her one-night stand with the billionaire mogul, saying that Trump did not wear a condom, and they had sex in the "missionary position."

She also alleged that she passed out at some point during the meet-up, which was after a charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Legal experts are now claiming that the former adult film star might have just unknowingly offered a boost to Trump's defense that could challenge her credibility as a witness.

"Her mention of passing out is a gift that will now enable the lawyers to challenge her memory," said New York University law professor Stephen Gillers, per Newsweek.

The Ex-President's Lawyers Didn't Object During Stormy Daniels' Testimony

For reasons best known to Daniels, the testimony of her sexual encounter with Trump was quite graphic. Trump's defense did not object during the testimony, a move that the presiding judge found surprising.

However, Professor Gillers suggests that Trump's lawyers might have deliberately avoided objecting during the testimony.

He said, "By not objecting, Trump's lawyers waive any objection they might have had to the testimony, and they know it."

The law professor added, "More likely, they wanted her to get into details that would be inconsistent with her prior descriptions of the incident, and they can then call her a fantasist or at least challenge her memory."

Apart from discussing her sexual encounter with the former president, Daniels revealed other scandalous details unheard of before.

She claimed that the billionaire mogul told her at the time that he and his wife Melania did not "even sleep in the same room," a statement he made to reassure her when she inquired about the Slovenian-born former model.

The former porn star also revealed that Trump said she reminded him of his daughter, Ivanka, during a dinner date they had before their sexual encounter.

"You remind me of my daughter because she is smart, blond, and beautiful, and people underestimate her as well," she recalled on the stand about her conversation with the billionaire mogul.

Trump has denied having an affair with Daniels or with Karen McDougal, a former Playboy star whose name has been mentioned repeatedly in the trial.

McDougal recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to troll the ex-president by sharing a suggestive picture of herself in the bathtub, which featured a book with the title "Catch and Kill."

The book's title has surfaced multiple times in Trump's hush money trial, alluding to a scenario where a publication purchases a story containing damaging information about someone and subsequently ensures it remains unpublished.

Karen McDougal Was Allegedly Paid $150,000 For Her Story

McDougal was said to have had an affair for approximately ten months between 2006 and 2007 with the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

She then entered into an agreement with American Media (AMI) in August 2016, granting them publication rights to the story of her alleged affair with the billionaire mogul.

McDougal purportedly received $150,000 in exchange for her story and was assured a regular wellness column in their publications, along with being featured on two magazine covers.

In the meantime, it is unclear if McDougal will be called on as a witness in the hush money trial.
