Kate Beckinsale attends first public event since mystery illness, hospitalization at King’s Trust 2024 Global Gala

Kate Beckinsale is returning to the spotlight following her mystery illness.

The “Underworld” star stepped out for her first public event at the King’s Trust 2024 Global Gala in New York City Thursday night.

She looked radiant for the outing as she donned a white one-shoulder asymmetrical ruffled dress paired with white platform heels.

Beckinsale, 50, wore her blond locks up, accessorizing with a black bow similar to the one she styled in the hospital.

Last month, the actress was released from the hospital after her weeks-long stay due to an undisclosed medical issue.

She remained tight lip about her condition despite posting several photos of herself on Instagram throughout her hospitalization.

The “Vacancy” star first documented her health woes on March 11 as she posted a teary-eyed snap of herself wearing a hospital gown and styling a massive black bow.

While also honoring her mom, Judy Loe, for UK’s Mother’s Day, she cryptically wrote, “Thank you to those that love us and support us when it’s s–t and try to make sure there are some bits that aren’t.”

She continued, “And for looking after our dogs when we can’t, and lead us to remember happy things when we can’t. And turn up when we are sick and sit with us … And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love.”

Days later the British actress showed her Pomeranian, Myf, lounging beside her in the bed as he stopped by for a visit.

Beckinsale also spent Easter in the hospital on March 31 as she shared a snap of herself from the knees down while sporting bunny socks.

The picture led to several people, including singer Gwen Stefani to ask, “What’s wrong!!! ????????.”

However, she never told fans why she was hospitalized. Kate Beckinsale/Instagram The “Van Helsing” star alluded that “tummy problems” were the root of her condition. Instagram/@katebeckinsale

However, Page Six noticed the “Van Helsing” star deleted all of her snaps from her hospital stay on April 10.

While Beckinsale has yet to comment on her condition, she hinted at it on social media on April 17 as she posed in a shirt that read, “Tummy Troubles Survivor.”

The snap also showed the actress wearing her iconic black bow.
