In a video shared a few days ago, Schaal updates viewers on the time-traveling situation that occurred in his shed at his Florida Airbnb.

"If you still don't believe this story about the time traveler that went into my shed, disappeared, and then came back in the future, this video is gonna change your mind," he said. "There's so much evidence supporting this theory."

He then explained that a man named Mattie Ice was looking into the theory of time travel and actually "made a skit" mocking Schaal for his original video. But now, Mattie has "come around" and is helping Schaal out.

"He found some crazy evidence. To start this off, I don't support reaching out to anybody's families or anything like that. This is all speculative, but evidence kind of makes sense," he said. "What he did is he did a reverse image search and he found this guy who looks pretty similar to our boy here."

He then showed a still of the man he caught on his Ring camera footage from his yard. He also explained that this guy was "obsessed with time travel."

"Nine years ago, he used to post on blogs talking about time travel and how it works," he continued. "He graduated from Harvard University, which is, you know is obviously impressive. So this guy knew his stuff."

But...The Man Who Alec Schaal Thinks Is The Time Traveler Died Years Ago

One possible problem with Schaal and Mattie's theory is the man died in 2018.

"But he looks the same and he was obsessed with time travel," Schaal continued.

He also showed a screenshot of a family member writing that they would see him soon after he passed. Mattie also found some interview notes from when the man was interviewed.

"In this interview, he was talking about his obsession with sound and time travel and how everything works in another dimension," he said. "This is all speculative. I didn't do any of this research. This is all Mattie Ice, but this is crazy because there's a lot of coincidences."

'Crazy New Discovery On The Time Traveler'

A few days after sharing the newly found information about the guy who entered and then exited the shed looking different ages, Schaal shared another update that involves author Stephen King.

"Stephen King is the author of this book called 'Fairytale' he wrote just two years ago, so it's very recent," Schaal said. "But what this book is about is gonna blow your mind, like, it's insane."

He then said he didn't read the book prior to his time traveler videos. He then explained what the book is all about.

"There's an older guy, he has a shed in his backyard and the shed has a staircase in it that leads to another realm with a fountain of youth," he said before showing a "little snippet" of the book.

Some people felt these videos were just an ad for King's book or a skit of some sort.

"I am convinced this is an ad for Stephen King but I'm so invested," one person wrote.

Many others shared the same thought.

Another viewer said, "Why I am thinking that you have been inspired by the book and you decided to do a skit?"

How Did We Get Here?

The video that started this whole story on TikTok was shared in late April. It grabbed millions of viewers' attention.

"This dude's coming onto my property to, what looks like, rob my house, but it actually turns out he is a time traveler," Schaal said in his first video. "I literally can't even make this up if I wanted to make this up. It blows my mind."

The footage shows a man who appears to be "wandering around" the backyard of Schaal's Florida Airbnb before he enters the shed.

Schaal said he watched the camera the entire time and didn't see the man leave the shed. He called the police and when they inspected the shed, there was no one in there.

"I don't know if there's a tunnel in my shed in the backyard. I don't know if he teleported," he said. "I don't know where this guy went or why he went in that shed."

He concluded the first video asking viewers what they think could be going on and many dropped into the comments to either agree that time travel could be real or argue that something totally different was going on. It appears that the skeptics really took over the comment section.

"Obviously a glitch on your camera didn’t motion when he left," one person wrote. Another added, "How you get to time traveler as your immediate conclusion? There are like 30 other possibilities. Why does time traveler have to be the only possible explanation?"
