Amber Rose distances herself from 2015 tweet about Kanye West, Kardashians

Amber Rose is distancing herself from a 2015 tweet about Kanye West that has resurfaced given his public drama with the Kardashians.

On Sunday, the Slutwalk founder addressed the “immature” tweet in which she referred to the family as the “Kartrashians”, saying neither Kim Kardashian nor her sisters “deserved” her comment.

“Man f–k that old ass tweet,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “I never got an apology for his ’30 showers’ comment but f–k it. I started my Slutwalk and helped millions of women around the world stand up for themselves against slut shaming so something amazing came out of it.

“Kim nor her sisters deserved that tweet and y’all shouldn’t co-sign it either. S–t was old and immature of me to involve the KarDASHians in the mess HE made,” Rose, 38, added of her response to a 2015 interview in which the “Jesus Walks” rapper, 44, said he needed to take “30 showers” after dating Rose in order “to get with Kim,” his now-estranged wife.

“Moving forward learn from my mistakes,” the model continued. “We all have kids and family’s life is hard enough right now for a lot of ppl. I just want to spread love and positivity.”

Rose is a mom to 8-year-old son Sebastian with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa and 2-year-old son Slash, whom she shares with music executive Alexander Edwards.

West found himself embroiled in drama over the weekend when he claimed he wasn’t invited to his daughter Chicago’s 4th birthday party. He ended up attending the bash thanks to Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, who provided the event’s address.

Page Six then broke the news that the Yeezy designer turned around and threw a party of his own for Chicago.

“He was always having his own party for Chicago. He had it at 4 p.m. at his office downtown [in Los Angeles] that he planned, so it’s so frustrating he crashed Kim’s party and created this narrative that he wasn’t invited,” a source close to the estranged couple told Page Six.

According to a source, it was “news to Kim” when Ye went live alleging he didn’t have the info and that he wasn’t even allowed to go.

“She has never gotten in the way of allowing him to see his kids and makes every effort to give him full access to them,” the source said. “Kim has made every effort to invite and include Kanye for every event. Outside of the ones he didn’t attend.”

Kim, 41, filed for divorce from West in February 2021. They also share 8-year-old North, 6-year-old Saint and 2-year-old Psalm.
