Angelina Jolie is one step closer to an empty nest.

The actress, 47, dropped her 17-year-old daughter, Zahara, off at Spelman College on Thursday.

The “Maleficent” star wore an all-black outfit for move-in day in photos posted via Instagram by the school’s Vice President of Student Affairs, Darryl Holloman.

The teenager, for her part, paired a green top with jeans. She sported a black face mask while posing for a pic in her new bedroom.

When asked how she felt about the milestone moment, Jolie admitted, “I’m going to start crying if I talk about today. I haven’t started crying yet so … hopefully I can hold it together.”

She added that she felt “so excited” to be the mother of a Spelman student.

The Oscar winner revealed her eldest daughter’s college plans earlier this month when the pair attended a Los Angeles event for the Atlanta-based school.

“Congratulations to all new students starting this year,” Jolie captioned an Aug. 1 Instagram upload. “A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl.”

The director’s ex-husband, Brad Pitt, gushed about Zahara’s college plans later that same week,” saying that he is “proud” of his “smart” daughter.

“She’s going to flourish even more at college,” the actor, 58, told Vanity Fair on Aug. 2. “It’s an exciting and beautiful time to find her own way and pursue her interests. I’m so proud. Where does the time go, right? They grow up too fast. It brings a tear to the eye.”

The former couple, who split in 2016 and were declared legally single three years later, are also the parents of Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Shiloh, 16, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 14.

In August 2019, Maddox headed to South Korea to attend Yonsei College. Jolie similarly was the only parent present at his drop-off.

“I’m trying not to cry,” the “Salt” star said at the time.
