Heavy rain causes flash flooding in Spain

The town of Alcanar in northeastern Spain assessed the damage Thursday to homes and businesses caused by flooding produced by intense rain that fell over large areas of the country.

More than 250 litres of rainfall per square metre were dumped on town of Alcanar
