Bam Margera’s wife files for custody of their son, but not divorce

Bam Margera’s legal woes keep getting worse.

The former MTV darling and professional skateboarder’s wife, Nicole Boyd, filed docs in Los Angeles Wednesday seeking full custody of the couple’s 3-year-old son, Phoenix Wolf — but did not file for a divorce.

Per TMZ, who reported the news, Boyd is willing to grant Margera monitored visitation rights. The “Jackass” star is allowed to make a bid for his preferred monitor, but Boyd must approve his selection.

It’s been a difficult summer for Margera. “Jackass” director Jeff Tremaine was granted a three-year restraining order against him mid-June over threats he alleged Margera made to him via text and social media.

The filmmaker claimed that Margera’s missives included lines like “I’m gonna kill you in one mother f–ing punch” and “Keep it up fat boy and I will continue.”

Then, in August, Margera filed a lawsuit against members of the “Jackass” crew, including longtime co-star Johnny Knoxville, director Spike Jonze and Paramount alleging that he was wrongfully terminated from the forth film in the franchise, “Jackass Forever.”

Margera was cut from the film in 2020 after allegedly testing positive for Adderall, which violated a “wellness agreement” he claims he was coerced into signing during a stint in rehab in 2019.

Another member of the “Jackass” squad, Steve-O, called Margera’s suit “absurd” to TMZ last week. “I love Bam,” he said, but “I have no idea how he managed to get anybody to file a lawsuit.”

Boyd and Margera married in Iceland in October 2013. They welcomed Phoenix, their first child, in December 2017.
