Singer Britney Spears is a free woman and she wants the world to know it!
On Tuesday afternoon, Spears posted a video of a pair of lips tattooed with images of pink and red roses. The words slowly spell out the words “free woman” in blinking white cursive font.
Britney posted the video alongside three kiss emojis in the caption and gave credit to @vladamua for creating the video.
The message was a hit with fans and got almost 250,000 likes within 30 minutes of posting!
“Free and independent!!!!!” user lawyersforbritney_ commented next to a few fire emojis.
“New music coming??” another fan asked.
“Omg FREE WOMAN by Lady Gaga?” one fan asked. “Is this a remix?”
Lady Gaga Says Britney Is ‘Just So Inspiring And Empowering’
As The Blast previously reported, Lady Gaga couldn’t stop gushing about Britney when a reporter for Vogue asked her about a possible collaboration on the “House of Gucci” red carpet.
Gaga went on to say that Britney is “a woman in this business that showed a lot of power in her sexuality, even in her youth, in a way that I think, as a young woman, was just so inspiring and empowering.”
She continued, “We can all root for her, but the person who changed her life was her. So this change that’s happening for her, it happened because of her, I believe, and I’m really… I’m excited for her future and I wish her all the best.”
Britney Calls Lady Gaga: ‘My Inspiration’
Less than a week later, Britney posted a photo of Lady Gaga looking fierce in a tight-fitting leopard jumpsuit.
“Why hello sexy lady !!!!” Britney captioned the snap. “Thanks again for your kind words ….. you’ve inspired me too and I’m in love with this outfit !!!! You’re my inspiration for the rest of the year and congrats on your amazing movie !!!! Love, B.”
She also included a clip of Lady Gaga praising her yet again.
“I watched her as a young girl and I still watch her now,” Gaga says in the clip. “She is… she is wildly talented, she is incredibly inspirational, and I’m just so happy that we get to celebrate today, that she gets to embark on a new phase of her life. And… she authored her freedom.”
Britney Posts Again: ‘Sit Long In Nature’
A few minutes after posting the teasing video, Britney posted a picture of a quote by Tanya Markul:
“Sit long in Nature, and after a while, she’ll sit within you. Let her take away your name, your history, and everything on your to-do list. Let her mess up your hair, dirty your feet, and awaken you to your inner mermaid.”
In the caption, Britney wrote, “GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!!!”
“I LOVE this!!” one fan wrote. “Nature is the way. There’s a very spiritual place in NM that you can really tap into yourself intensely.”
“Yes to this,” another fan said alongside a fire emoji as others showered the “Womanizer” singer with love and positive vibes.
It’s not clear if Britney’s post about nature is linked to a possible collaboration with Lady Gaga, but fans have their fingers crossed!
