76-year-old goddess of pop, Cher, couldn’t care less what the media says about her attraction to younger men. The musician, TV personality, and actress rocked a gorgeous outfit alongside Alexander “AE” Edwards on Friday. The two walked side-by-side as they held hands on their way to the Beverly Hills pre-Grammy dinner.

While she is more than twice his age, Cher loves being with Edwards. The 36-year-old’s new relationship comes after he admitted to cheating on ex-girlfriend Amber Rose. Although fans were happy for Cher, they warned her to be careful of Edward’s unfaithful past.

Cher, who previously won a Grammy for her project “Believe” in 2008, attended the pre-Grammy dinner with Edwards, which was held two days before the main event. The iconic singer looked gorgeous in her black top, white zipper jacket and silver slacks. She and her boyfriend looked happy as they walked hand in hand in photos via Daily Mail.

Following their first outing at Paris Fashion Week, Cher gushed about the music producer two months later. In an appearance on the “Kelly Clarkson Show,” the “Strong Enough” singer revealed how much she liked her boyfriend. Amid the backlash on their age difference, the two get along well. “Well, on paper it’s kind of ridiculous, but in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous.”

Cher also noted how “kind” and “smart” Edwards is. “He’s very talented and he’s really funny.” She added, “And I think he’s quite handsome.” While recalling her dating timeline, the icon revealed that men her age didn’t like her as much as younger men. She noted, “If I hadn’t met younger men in my life, I would have never had a date.”

Cher Prefers To Date Younger Men

The “After All” singer noted that she never felt loved by men her age and older. While she dated several people her age, Cher always felt like “they just didn’t like her for some reason.” The “Stuck On You” actress also added that she preferred to date younger men.

She recalled feeling comfortable enough to be herself around them. She told Clarkson, “Younger men don’t care if you’re, you know, funny or outrageous and wanna do stupid things and, you know, and you have a strong personality, you know?” While it wouldn’t be bad to date men her age, she doesn’t want to “give up her personality for” anyone.

Although they sparked rumors of their relationship back in September 2022, Cher only recently confirmed their relationship on her Instagram page in January. Cher’s romance with Edwards comes after the producer admitted to cheating on ex-girlfriend Amber Rose.

The star who shares son Slash Electric with Rose ended things with the model in 2021 after over three years together. Their split followed several cheating allegations from Rose. The TV personality once called out Edwards for his behavior on Instagram Stories.

At the time, she wrote per Daily Mail, “I’m tired of getting cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes.” She also noted that he cheated with over 12 women and called them out as well.

“Y’all very much knew he was in a relationship with a baby and y’all decided to f**k him anyway,” she said, adding, “I saw all the texts and DMs. Y’all were well aware.”

While she hated the women for it, Rose noted that they owed her no “loyalty.” Following the allegations, Edwards admitted to cheating on the model on Instagram Live and apologized. However, fans are still worried for Cher and have warned the singer of his cheating habit.

Fans Warned Cher About Alexander Edward’s Unfaithful Past

After the “Moonstruck” singer announced their relationship, some fans took to Twitter to warn her about Edwards’ history with Rose. In response to one, she noted that she wasn’t “blinded by” her feelings and knew what she was doing.

According to Daily Mail she said at the time, “SMOKE DOESN’T ALWAYS MEAN [FIRE].” Cher also responded to another fan who was worried that Edwards would take “advantage of” her. The star explained that relationships were about taking risks, and she was used to doing that.

While fans are worried for the global superstar, Cher has a history of leaving relationships that made her uncomfortable. The star, who has gotten married twice, once filed for a divorce from her second husband for his heroin addiction.
