Dates For Madonna’s Upcoming Celebration Tour Spans Into 2024!

Madonna is focusing on her fans’ total satisfaction during her upcoming tour.

Just one week after adding several dates to the European and North American shows for her highly-anticipated tour list, the singer has followed through on yet another overwhelming request from her fans — adding even more dates.

With these new additions, the show now will spill into the early parts of next year, ending in Los Angeles on January 9 – for now. “Madonna: The Celebration Tour” will kick off in Vancouver on July 15, taking fans on her artistic journey through four decades.

Madonna Gears Up To Perform In Months Long Tour Starting Later This Year

Soon after succumbing to the pressure of adding new dates to her tour, Madonna added one extra date for her London shows and four for Los Angeles and New York residents who want to see her perform.

The “Frozen Fire” singer will be rounding up the U.K. arm of the tour at the 02 Arena on December 5 before heading to New York for her two-day show on December 13 and 14. Next, the 64-year-old will thrill fans at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on January 8 and 9, 2024.

So far, the 40th-anniversary “Celebration” tour has sold 36 shows, with 600,000 tickets sold — and counting. Meanwhile, the previous four London dates are scheduled for October 2023, with three already sold out.

Due to that demand, Madonna announced new dates for the North American and Europe legs and second shows in Miami, Barcelona, Las Vegas, and Milan, and three nights in Paris.

The tour, which is commemorating Madonna’s reign as the Queen of Pop, will see the singer perform a set of her greatest hits like “Vogue,” “Hung Up,” “Like a Prayer,” “La Isla Bonita,” and “Material Girl.”

The mother-of-six announced the event in a video that paid tribute to her 1991 musical, “Madonna: Truth or Dare.” The iconic footage featured entertainment heavyweights including Diplo, Amy Schumer, Judd Apatow, Lil Wayne, Kate Berlant, Jack Black, Bob The Drag Queen, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter, and Eric Andre.

According to her website, the video ended with Schumer daring the “Filth and Wisdom” director to go on tour and perform her forty-year mega hits catalog. Madonna rose to the challenge, announcing that “The Celebration Tour” would showcase her unmatched music prowess from the past 40+ years. “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna said.

The Blast reported that the Golden Globe Award winner posted a video showing her in a black lace bralette and wine-colored bottoms. For the appreciation post, Madonna wore layers of diamond necklaces, flawless makeup, and blue eye contact, letting her curly ginger tresses fall on one side of her face.

“I just want to say thank you to all of my fans for all of your love and support over the last few days. I don’t take any of this for granted, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, and I’m so grateful for all of your support,” she muttered in the video.

She continued by teasing, “I can’t wait to put the show together and have a moment with each and every one of you on the stage to celebrate the last four decades of my journey, and I don’t take any of this for granted.”

Madonna’s comments quickly filled up with her fans expressing their eagerness for the tour. One of them commented, “Congratulations Love! There is only one Madonna, and thank you for your art and contribution to music and culture.”

In other emerging events, the tour seems to be making a lot of changes in the 64-year-old’s life as news of her biopic featuring Julia Garner as Madonna being scrapped hit the headlines recently.

The film, with the working title “Little Sparrow,” was focused on telling the story of the legendary singer’s four-decade career spanning music, fashion, and cinema. Per The Blast, the “Dangerous Game” star previously disclosed that she has worked on two draft scripts covering significant periods of her personal and professional life.

Amy Pascal and Guy Oseary were supposed to produce the project, which would have been the crown jewel of Madonna’s film projects. So far, she has a record of three plays, 27 feature films, and numerous short films and commercials and the biopic was canceled after she announced her tour.
