David Crosby celebrates new documentary in the Hamptons

Classic folk rocker David Crosby took the stage at an East Hampton movie theater Saturday before a new documentary on his life and joked: “I don’t know what to do. There’s no drums, there’s no amps.”

He added, “Normally, nowadays when you go to make a documentary, what you do is you get everybody you ever met who’s famous and you say, ‘Say some nice stuff.’ And then you can use their names in the advertising.”

At the Cinema Society screening of “Remember My Name” were Robert Downey Jr., Howard Stern and Brooke Shields. Later, guests including Martha Stewart, Mischa Barton and Cuba Gooding Jr. celebrated at Moby’s and watched fireworks over the water.
