Jojo Siwa chops off her signature ponytail for short haircut

Jojo Siwa might have once sung “Nobody Can Change Me,” but it turns out her hair is an exception.

“Mayyyyy have done something todayyyy,” the pop star captioned an Instagram video of someone snipping off her famous long blond ponytail on Wednesday.

In the footage, Siwa, who is fresh off the road from D.R.E.A.M. The Tour, gasps as her signature ‘do is cut, but the video stops short of showing off her final look.

With Demi Lovato’s “Cool for the Summer” playing in the clip, it seems like Siwa, 18, is embracing the warmer temperatures with a shorter, sassier haircut for the upcoming season.

Siwanatorz — the official name for her fans — went wild on the post, commenting a variety of shocked reactions such as: “I NEED THE RESULTS I NEED” and “EVERYONE SHUT UP THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO HAPPEN TO ME ALL DAY.”

This isn’t the first time the former “Dance Moms” star shocked fans with a hair transformation; In June 2020, the entertainer dyed her signature blond hair brunette.

She’s also experimented going without her famous bows and ponytail more often in recent years, opting for a more natural and relaxed look or other styles.

Another change for the “Dancing with the Stars” alum: At the end of March, Siwa confirmed she was in a new relationship following her split with ex Kylie Prew.

“I am not single, and I don’t want to mingle,” Siwa, who recently celebrated one year since coming out as gay, said on the “Rachel Uncensored” Podcast.
