Drake reveals new face tattoo for his mother

He’s a certified momma’s boy!

Drake debuted his new face tattoo on Thursday night as he revealed the very special meaning behind it.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper decided to honor his mom, Sandi Graham, with his latest ink job as he proudly shared the new tat with his 119 million Instagram followers.

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, revealed he got his mom’s initials tatted below his left eye in small, black stylized lettering.

“Sandra Gale,” he wrote alongside a carousel of images.

The 35-year-old “God’s Plan” hitmaker has a very close bond with his mom. He often credits her for being very supportive of his music career when he was starting out.

The tattoo artist, who goes by the name Nal, shared a clip of Drake laying down with his eyes closed as his mom’s initials were being inked on his face.

It seems as though Drake’s love of tattoos is passed down from his dad, Dennis Graham, who showcased his huge new tat of his famous son’s face he got five years ago.

The rapper couldn’t contain his reaction, writing, “I was just sitting here thinking why you do me like this we family,” he captioned a close-up of the questionable arm ink, tagging his dad and including a few laughing emojis for good measure.

His father did not take offense, commenting, “I love you and miss you” and sharing, “Hahaha I had 16 people to try and straighten this out, they’re hurting me,” with a few laughing emojis of his own.
