Olive Is Fast Becoming A Rising Fashion Designer

Olive’s big tenth birthday comes days after her mother opened up about her knack for fashion. Per The Blast, the “Little lost girl” author discussed Olive’s fashion prospects in an interview.

Olive is definitely not treading in her mother’s footsteps and marking her spot in the fashion world. The 47-year-old actress believes that Olive is a born fashion designer calling her “total Edie Beale.” She praised the little one’s abilities, saying,

“She constructs really amazing things and is really, has great ingenuity when it comes to tailoring clothes. I have two forms, that I just have buckets and baskets and fabrics, and then they can just make dresses on the forms.”

Barrymore has been sampling Olive’s works over the years but hasn’t worn any piece of Olive for a red carpet show yet.

Also, the talk show host revealed that Olive is equally fascinated with the Glow Recipe skincare brand. Although Barrymore said she had severally told Olive that those products are way too active for her young skin, the little girl “just wants to wear it and play with it.”

As for her other daughter, Frankie, the producer described her as an organized type who is interested in collecting makeup. According to the actress, “Frankie has something in her that’s so admirable. She has incredible systems. Everything’s in its place. I marvel at her.”

Barrymore Opens Up On The Hardest Part Of Co-parenting With Ex- Husband

Back in March, The Blast covered an interview where Barrymore opened up about co-parenting her children with her ex-husband. The Golden Globe winner outlined the challenges she faced when it came to raising her children as a single mother.

“You miss them when you’re apart because that wasn’t the plan,” she confessed. When asked about the positive side of co-parenting, she replied, “Both parents get a day off.”

Regardless of the challenges, the “Blended” actress excitedly shared that her recent parenting win was when she got Olive to “load and unload” the dishwasher, and a recent miss was getting upset when Olive tried to tell her how to drive.
