Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are “so proud” to introduce his 12-year-old daughter, Zaya Wade, to the rest of the world.
On the same day that Wade opened up about Zaya coming out as transgender, Union posted a video on social media of Wade and Zaya discussing the importance of “being true” to oneself.
“Meet Zaya,” Union, 47, captioned the clip Tuesday. “She’s compassionate, loving, whip smart and we are so proud of her. It’s Ok to listen to, love & respect your children exactly as they are. Love and light good people.”
In the video, Zaya says, “I would say, just be true to yourself. What’s the point of being on this Earth if you’re going to try to be someone you’re not. It’s like you’re not even living as yourself, which is the dumbest concept to me.”

Constance Wu still hasn’t seen “Hustlers,” despite starring in the hit film.
“I still haven’t seen it,” she confessed on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” on Wednesday.
However, Wu, 37, made it clear that “Hustlers” isn’t the only one of her films that she hasn’t seen.
The actress said after watching 2018’s “Crazy Rich Asians,” for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination, she then “stopped watching anything.”
“I didn’t watch my talk show appearances or ‘Fresh Off the Boat’ or ‘Hustlers’ just ’cause I thought, you know, ‘I want to focus on the present’ and not be self-critical and think too much, dwell too much on the past,” she added.

Quit playing games!
A young New York couple melted hearts on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday morning, when Adam Diamond proposed to Priscilla Consolo as the weepy climax to a Backsteet Boys performance.
But we hear that the special moment may have been slightly less warm and fuzzy as it seemed.
“One small problem: the two have been engaged for over two years,” said a tipster.
A rep for the Backstreet Boys didn’t get back to us, nor did Consolo. Diamond couldn’t be reached.
