Emily Ratajkowski is so happy with her own divorce that she admits to congratulating other divorcees on joining the club.

MEGAThe model hasn’t shared any details about her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard but has hinted on a few occasions that she is so happy to be a divorced woman. On the latest episode of her podcast “High Low with EmRata”, which dropped today, she shares with guest Tommy Dorfman, her views on divorce and how it has made her a better person in a sense.
She told Dorfman during a conversation about dating and breakups that she didn’t feel shame around r divorce because she knows many people who have called it quits on a relationship for a bevy of reasons.
She doesn’t consider divorce “a sad thing.” She continued, “I know a lot of people are unhappily married for a long time because they’re so afraid of divorce. I don’t think that’s a good way to live.”

MEGAThe actress also shared that she is doing this whole new positive talk around divorce. “Every time I hear a divorce story or when I see the news, I have to remind myself, ‘Oh that’s sad.’ I literally say to people, ‘Good for you.’
EmRata wasn’t always this happy when she spoke about her divorce. Back in October, she was on the cover of Harpers Bazaar, and in the cover story interview, she admitted she “feels all the emotions” after people accused her of being too happy on social media.
Emily went on to explain, “Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I’m feeling all those things. … It makes me believe that I’ll be OK.”

MEGAWhile she is an advocate for divorce, Emily is busy looking for the next main guy in her life, only, the paps are allegedly making it hard for her to date around. She says it’s been “tricky to navigate” seeing people with a “casual” vibe because they are always photographing her.
She has been spotted around New York City on dates with a few people. Pete Davidson was one and DJ got the chance at a few dates too. Emily is living it up as she should at 31 and single. But her willingness to date just rubs people the wrong way.
She said, “the other guys I’m dating see it, and it has been kind of difficult … it sucks,” she ends up feeling “compelled” to say sorry for casually dating.
Tommy Dorfman Thinks She’s Brave
MEGAGuest, Tommy was surprised but pleased at how open EmRata was about her divorce and letting it play out how she wants. Tommy shared a story about when they first accepted themselves after coming out as transgendered.
They recounted a story about the first shoot they did with women’s clothing and all the hair and makeup done and it was the first time they had seen themselves as they truly were. At that point, who cares how others feel. They had found themselves.
The two bonded over not allowing hate and naysay to push them back after public breakups and changes.
