Rapper Kanye West is the victim of a break-in at his home in Hidden Hills.

Sources close to the situation exclusively tell The Blast that someone broke into Kanye’s home on Wednesday afternoon.

The house in question is the same house across from his ex, Kim Kardashian. The “Donda” rapper and the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star are officially divorced as of today after a court ruling made it official.

Sources told The Blast that someone broke into Ye’s home and went on Instagram Live. We’re told someone alerted Kanye of the break-in, who then notified the authorities. Police are currently seen outside Kanye’s house in Hidden Hills but we have yet to receive word as to whether the suspect has been apprehended yet.

Is Kanye West Safe?!

Fortunately, Kanye West is indeed safe. He was not home when his California home was broken into. He was spotted in Miami with Tristan Thompson earlier today before heading to his divorce hearing.

The rapper and basketball star grabbed dinner together on Tuesday, March 1 at the luxury hotel The Setai in Miami Beach, Florida. A few other guests were also present at the star-studded dinner.

“They were happy to see each other and the vibe was light and fun,” a source told E! News. “Kanye was smiling and holding court at the table. He and Tristan seemed like good friends having a fun night out. They were laughing and smiling together and seemed to be on great terms. They were joined by a few women at the table, and they all had a good time.”

The group reportedly was having such a great time that they stayed past midnight, eating, drinking, and swapping stories.

“At the end of the night, Kanye and Tristan hugged before going their separate ways,” the source added.

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Have Officially Parted Ways

Although Kanye initially wanted to get back together with Kim, his new focus is on his children.

In the hours leading up to the hearing, The Blast reported that Kanye had broken his silence about the pending divorce, saying that he only wanted what was best for his children.

“I’ve asked my team to expedite the dissolution of my marriage to Kim so I can put my entire attention into our beautiful children,” Kanye said.

As of Wednesday afternoon, their marriage has since been dissolved. Couples for the lawyer met at the L.A. County Courtroom this morning to come to an agreement that would allow both parties to declare themselves legally single, despite the ongoing financial and custody issues that have yet to be resolved.

Kim joined the hearing via Zoom. Kanye’s new lawyer, Samatha Spector, appeared on his behalf. On the docket was a “bifurcation” of the couple’s marital status which will legally make them divorced. After a bit of back and forth, Kim finally conceded to give Kanye the necessary legal protections of indemnification to officially end their marriage. Kim has also dropped the West from her name, so instead of Kim Kardashian West, she will now just be known as Kim Kardashian again.

Kanye West Is Just Trying To Do What’s Best For His Children

Although many divorces experience custody disputes, this issue might take a bit longer to resolve. Kanye has accused Kim of keeping him from his children and claimed that she has forced him to take drug tests in order to see his children.

“America saw you try to kidnap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address. You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs,” Ye wrote in a now-deleted post on Instagram.

Kanye was also upset that Kim created a shared TikTok account for their oldest daughter without his knowledge or permission.

“SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?” he posted in all caps in another deleted Instagram post.
