‘Euphoria’ Characters And The Zodiac Signs They Represent

There are so many films and series that are currently trending and catching the attention of millions of viewers worldwide, and one of them is ‘Euphoria.’ The popular HBO series follows the lives of several Gen-Z high school kids as they explore drug use, sex, and relationships.

The series is also famous for its glaring portrayal of drug abuse, male and female nudity, and, most popular, its soundtrack. Season two of the series recently aired, and it brought a clear division of the show’s fans into camps who support particular characters or relationships.

If there is one thing about ‘Euphoria’, it is that it has a variety of messed-up characters with vastly different personality traits that are characteristic of the different Zodiac signs. Read on to find the Zodiac signs of four of the most popular characters from the show.

Kat Is A Taurus

The zodiac sign, Taurus, is ruled by the planet Venus, a planet of pleasure, aesthetics, and possessions. This screams Kat, who is not only a professional smut fan fiction writer but also a beginner dominant who managed to turn her blossoming sex scandal into a power-play and pay for punishment scheme.

The character is played by Barbie Ferreira, who did an excellent job portraying Kat’s confusion, despair, and desires. Being able to turn sex into bitcoin and dollars all from your bedroom is the stuff Taurus dreams are made of, and Kat certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Another Taurus baby in ‘Euphoria’ is Fez, the neighborhood drug dealer who is fiercely loyal, lovable, and always there to protect Rue, Ashtray, and his family. His loyalty, brutal honesty, willingness to make difficult decisions, and preference for comfort is another character trait of Taurus.

Cassie Is A Cancer

The character of Cassie is like a lost child who needs help but refuses to admit that they are lost. She is a beautiful young woman who is highly delusional, romantic, and prone to tears at the slightest sign of stress or rejection. Cassie is played by Sydney Sweeney and represents the most extreme water signs.

Rue summarizes Cassie’s character in one scene when she says, “She fell in love with every guy she ever dated. Whether they were smart or stupid or sweet or cruel, it didn’t matter. She didn’t like to be alone.” This is typical of Cancers as they are known to crave companionship and romance, no matter the cost or toxicity of the person giving it to them.

Nate Is A Scorpio

There is something maniacal about Nate Jacobs, whether it is the ease with which he plots his evil plans and manipulates people or how he uses the women around him while blatantly displaying his misogyny, toxicity, and violence.

Whatever it is, it screams Scorpio energy, a sign known for being extraordinarily sinister and for its ability to exploit the pain of others all to exert dominance and control over anyone close to them. Even Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate, previously described his character as an “emotional terrorist, a narcissist, a sociopath, a freak.” during an interview with W Magazine.

However, despite all the things he has done, there is that undeniable attraction to Nate by both the viewers and the other characters, another typical and annoying trait of a Scorpio.

Rue Is A Virgo

At the very beginning of season one, it is revealed that Rue was born on September 14th, 2001, and this established her as a Virgo. As a mutable earth sign, Virgos are highly analytical and often analyze themselves so deeply that they begin to emotionally and mentally self-harm.

Rue exhibits all the traits of a Virgo, from her attempts to use drugs to make her feel things and escape from reality to her fierce loyalty, to her conviction that she knows best for Jules and the people she loves, no matter how wrong she is and what they say. Rue also struggles with feelings of inferiority and incapability of being loved.

The exciting thing about Rue is that she is Played by Zendaya, who herself is a Virgo, proving true the statement that only a Virgo can portray another Virgo. Another notable Virgo in ‘Euphoria’ is Lexi, the exact opposite of Rue and on the other end of the Virgo spectrum.
