Kim Kardashian is legally single. With Pete Davison in her lap, and, in her bed, as he so vociferously messaged Kanye West, she’s not heart-whole or fancy-free.
The 41-year-old “KUWTK” star is also making sure that her fans on Instagram know that the ex-husband drama is no skin off her back. Or should we say no SKIM off her back as she steps into bikinis to model the latest line of SKIMS swimwear, simply titled SWIM!
‘Legally Single’ With Pete Davidson ‘In Her Bed’
MEGAThe last few days saw another spike in the Bermuda triangle between Kanye West, Kim, and her current flame, SNL regular Pete Davidson. As Kanye continued to spew vitriol against Kim and the Kardashian clan, telling everyone that they were not letting him be a good father, even Kim Kardashian clapped back, asking him to “stop this narrative” about not being able to be with his children.
Pete Davidson also let loose a volley of direct messages to Kanye asking him to stop being an “Internet b***h boy” and asked him to man up and talk with him, face to face, if he had a problem.
Meanwhile, Kanye seems to have upped his attack against Pete Davidson and we wonder if Kim’s SKIMS SWIM post had anything to do with it? She sure looks unconcerned.
Kim Kardashian: ‘You Asked We Delivered’
In her latest post, KimK is pictured wearing an almond-colored bikini, as she announces the launch of SKIMS swimwear, SWIM, on March 18th, as per popular demand.
Fans were suitably impressed, some saying they were very excited about the collection while one mentioned, “Get Bo Derek for the new campaign. Icon.”
There were some dissenting voices as well, as one Instagram user wrote, “These unrealistic beauty shots should be illegal.”
Another wondered, “Where’s the thickness diversity?”, getting a few likes from other Instagram users who also wondered why only the thin and perfect models were doing this.
Others wondered if the swimsuit would be anything like Kylie Jenner’s line, writing “pls don’t let it be anything like kylie’s swim line” because that was transparent, and not the kind of stuff you could swim in public with.
But as far as SWIM is concerned, the focus remains the same, on comfort over anything else and it might just add even more millions, to KimK’s billionaire status.
Fans Are Loving Kim Kardashian In SWIM
MEGAThe carousel with which Kim Kardashian announced the SWIM collection by SKIMS had lots, and lots of pictures of her in bikinis.
The SWIM collection itself will consist of 19 mix-and-match styles in seven solid colors, including the brand’s signature skin-toned hues (for all skin tones), as well as cobalt and periwinkle. It will also have some “innovative” separate pieces, sporty one-pieces or monokinis, and everything in between. While the photoshoot may not have shown plus sizes it will be available in sizes ranging from XXS to 4X and will be competitively priced, from $32 to $108.
Kardashian had been itching for a while to share the good news with her 292 million followers on Instagram but wanted SWIM to be completely ready before she unveiled the line. In a report published by Business of Fashion, Kardashian said, “I even had to stop tagging [Skims], I do want there to be a nice element of surprise for it as I’ve really wanted swim for a really long time.”
The reality star also said that the idea behind SWIM was to let the customers build their own swimwear sets, and designed them much like “LEGOS” to let women play mix and match.
So as her drama keeps getting complicated by the minute, Kardashian is busy being an entrepreneur, and also will soon be seen on screen again on Hulu, “The Kardashians”. The trailer is already out and it shows KimK admitting, “it’s hard with Kanye” as in another shot, her mom teases her about who she was texting and if it rhymed with “beat”.
