Justin Timberlake addressed fans again following his DWI arrest in Sag Harbor, New York, for driving while intoxicated or impaired.
In his second show on Saturday, June 22, at the United Center in Chicago, as part of the Forget Tomorrow World Tour, Timberlake thanked his fans for sticking by him amid the controversy.
“This [tour] is just something that keeps watching over me, more so on this tour than any other,” Timberlake said. “And that’s that mostly all of us here in this room tonight, in this arena tonight, have grown up together. So many of you come up to me and say, ‘I grew up with you, man.'”
He continued, “I want each and every one of you to know I’ve grown up with you. You have been such a big and beautiful part of my life and sometimes I can’t find the words to show my gratitude that you guys just keep riding with me and riding with me.”

Timberlake acknowledged his fans from across his career, adding, “I just wanna say you guys keep loving me and coming back and spending and sharing this experience with me. And from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know that until I’m somewhere off this earth, I will never forget each and every one of you. You made my life so special. And tonight in Chicago, you have made us feel loved.”
The former Nsync member had broken his silence the night before following his arrest and booking in New York.
“It’s been a tough week. I know I’m hard to love sometimes, but you keep loving me right back,” he told the Chicago crowd on Friday, June 21.
Timberlake’s next show is scheduled to be on June 25 at Madison Square Garden in NYC where he will perform for two nights.
The pop star was arrested and released from custody on June 18 after he was charged with driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York, the previous evening. Sag Harbor police say he was pulled over after he ran through a stop sign and his 2025 BMW was weaving along the road. He is next scheduled to virtually appear in court on July 26. Timberlake has denied the charge, saying he only had one drink.
