Prince Andrew makes secret nighttime visits to the Queen: Report

He’s not exactly the Dark Knight.

Prince Andrew has been using the cover of darkness to make secret visits to the Queen without the prying eyes of the paparazzi tracking his every move, according to a report.

The disgraced royal — on the outs with The Firm since being embroiled in bombshell allegations from former Jeffrey Epstein sex slave Virginia Roberts Giuffre — snuck over to Windsor Castle from his home at Royal Lodge every night last week to discuss his future with the monarchy, The UK Sun reported.

“Andrew has been very careful and is trying to keep out of sight. He knows there are photographers in the daytime and his best chance to avoid them is after dark,” a source told the outlet.

“He knows he is meant to be keeping his head down and it’s a short trip, but he is extremely contrite and apologized to the Queen for all the trouble he has caused her.”

News of the secret nighttime visits comes about a week after it emerged that Prince Charles ordered Andrew, 62, to stay “out of the line of sight” and away from Windsor Castle amid the ongoing controversy.

Andrew paid a reported $12 million settlement to end Giuffre’s sex abuse lawsuit against him. He had repeatedly denied the allegations.

“He realizes how serious this whole issue has been and the damage it has done to the monarchy. The last thing he wanted to do was cause his beloved mother so much anguish at her age and in her Platinum Jubilee year,” the source told The Sun.

Andrew also apologized to his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, for the sordid scandal, the paper said.
