Grayson Chrisley gives health update after terrifying car wreck

Grayson Chrisley is doing “fine” less than one month after being hospitalized following a “bad” car accident.

The 16-year-old got candid about the scary situation on sister Savannah Chrisley’s “Unlocked” podcast on Wednesday, saying, “I’m fine, the trucks not fine but I am fine.

He continued, “But it was bad, it was really bad.”

Despite Savannah, 25, saying the teen was “beat up” after the accident, Grayson cleared the air over rumors he was seriously injured.

“They made it sound like I died,” he joked about the news reports. “It was like, ‘Grayson Chrisley badly injured in a car wreck’ and I was like, ‘Bro I’m fine.'”

The “Chrisley Knows Best” star continued, “I posted a picture of me in the gym. Do you know how many DMs I got that were like, ‘Surprised you’re not still in the hospital.’ I’m like, ‘I was there for, like, four hours.'”

While Grayson has been downplaying the accident, Savannah told her podcast listeners last month that when she got to the scene her brother’s F-150 was completely “totaled” with “every airbag deployed.”

“When he told me, he was like, ‘I hit the back of someone,’” she explained, adding that he “made it sound like a fender bender.”

The accident, which shut down the highway, occurred in Nashville when Grayson slammed into the back of a Dodge pickup truck that was stopped in standstill traffic.

“It was bad,” Savannah recounted. “When I showed up and saw it, literally my heart sank.”

The accident happened just one week before his parents, Todd and Julie, were sentenced to prison for bank fraud and tax evasion.

Todd, 53, received 12 years in prison while Julie, 49, will have to serve seven years behind bars. The couple will also have to pay $17.2 million in restitution for their alleged $36 million fraud scheme.
