Hillary Clinton strongly denied during an appearance Wednesday on “The Howard Stern Show” that she has ever had a lesbian affair.
Clinton, a twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate, told Sirius/XM talk show host Howard Stern how she met former President Bill Clinton while they were both at Yale Law School. She said she had to break things off with a previous partner, whom she described as “so handsome, really handsome,” “like a Greek god” and “very attractive.”
In case Stern had missed her point, she added: “Contrary to what you might hear, I actually like men.”
Unverified rumors have long circulated that Clinton is gay.
“Raise your right hand, you’ve never had a lesbian affair,” Stern demanded.
“Never, never, never!” Clinton said. “Never even been tempted.”
“Unbelievable,” Stern replied.
Clinton went on to make the case that she was “pretty popular” with men in college.
“I dated a lot of different people, and I liked a lot of them,” she said. “I was pretty popular. I was OK popular … boys were not my problem.”
Later in the interview, Clinton regaled Stern with stories of the ways her husband romanced her in their law school days.
Clinton, who has lately been on a book tour with daughter Chelsea Clinton, has reported not ruled out another run for president in 2020. Her former aide Philippe Reines recently suggested she might beat President Donald Trump, despite her failure to do so in 2016.
