The cast and creator of the movie have a spoiler-free discussion about the terrifying scene.
There are certain scenes in certain horror movies that really stand out. While the whole experience might have been terrifying, there is usually one scene that remains in your memory long afterwards.
Think of the sudden head reveal in Jaws, everything to do with that nail in A Quiet Place, the old lady in the bath in The Shining, the opening scene with the storm drain in IT... the list goes on and on.
One man who knows a thing or two about memorably horrific images is writer and director M. Night Shyamalan; any person who says they didn't jump when that alien appeared at the kid's birthday party is a liar!
Shyamalan's new scary movie Old is out in Irish cinemas from Friday, 23 July, and we had the opportunity to chat to him and some of his cast about the new movie's scariest scene.
And don't worry, we were all very careful about how we discussed it, so there are no spoilers!
First up, you'll hear from Thomasin McKenzie, who we've officially crowned the Scream Queen of 2021. Not only is she in this scary movie, but later this year, you'll also see her in Last Night In Soho, the new horror from Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz).

Next up, we've got Alex Wolff. He has already starred in one of this generation's best horror movies - Hereditary - and here he makes some big comparisons between Shyamalan's work (and this scene in particular) and some iconic, old-school horror.
