Having kickstarted The Skin Nerd brand in 2017, Jennifer Rock, the award-winning dermal facialist and bestselling author, has seen her creation go from strength to strength.
Between her famous consultations, her Skingredients range and her devotion to understanding skin and the components it needs, she has amassed quite the cult following.
This week on All In, Jennifer talked about how her business is at a stage where it's now essential to bring on a few more business heads who can take the brand to the next level. But being able to trust and mesh well with those you add to the team (and ensuring your current employees will too) is a crucial task.

"I'm not married to wanting to be great at the accounting element or the operational or logistics, so I think it's having confidence in your own ability to know that you have to let it go because it's actually for the greater good of the business.
"...it's less about their CVs and accolades, it's more about the hooman and will they represent the brand values?
"...they have to be the yin to my yang and they also have to be strong enough to tell me 'Jennifer that's not the right decision,' like I'm not business-orientated in that that's not my accolade so I need somebody to be able to say, 'Look Jennifer, look at the margin, look at the profits, let's think wisely here, let's not go with our dreams and our notions.'
