YOWZA, things between Edgar De Santiago and Gillian Lieberman are not looking so hot.
Well, I guess separately things are looking hot for them, but as a couple, there are A LOT of red flags coming to light on “Temptation Island.”
On Wednesday, episode two of season four aired and viewers saw all sorts of wild and crazy things go down.
Gillian’s Becoming More Unsure About Edgar While On The Island

But let’s focus on Gillian and Edgar.
The couple came to “Temptation Island” at Gillian’s behest.
Gillian (21) and Edgar (23) met while attending Ball State University and have been together for four years.
Gillian says Edgar swept her off her feet, and they’ve been on the fast track to uncertainty ever since.
The couple both have trust issues in their relationship and despite overcoming some missteps, neither of them can shake the uncertainty of their future together.
Gillian’s Got No Tears Left To Cry After Edgar Leaves

Well, if the recent episode says anything about the “safety of their bubble,” that’s going to be a NEGATIVE.
The episode opens up with Gillian expressing her concern that the experience on “Temptation Island” will teach her that she’s better off being single and alone at 21.
She also revealed to Tom Soltis that Edgar bought her a promise ring, which she’s still wearing.
However, seeing how uncertain she is about her own relationship status, Gillian considers taking it off.
Mind you, Edgar gifted her the ring after cheating on her.
“I’m starting to realize nothing’s been the same since he cheated on me,” she said during a confessional.
NBCUniversalNaturally, I’m thinking I’m team Gillian now that we know Edgar’s been a bit mischievous in their relationship.
While speaking to Trace Winningham, Edgar told her that he and Gillian would already be married if they were both sure about their relationship.
He added, “I don’t think she would marry me.”
When it comes time for the couples to pick out their eligible singles for their first dates, Gilliam picks Tom and Edgar chooses Marisa Rodriguez.

NBCUniversalAfter spending their first date acting like birds and paragliding, Gillian and Tom sit down for a picnic overlooking the ocean.
It’s during the first date Gillian realizes her eyes and heart are starting to wander.
“It’s exciting to know there may be someone besides Edgar who could be a good fit for me,” she said about Tom.
Meanwhile, Edgar and Marissa have a heart-to-heart on their first date which involved jet-skiing and a one-on-one hangout.
“You’re easy to talk to,” he expressed to Marissa.
Then viewers get to see the guys go to their first bonfire, which is basically doomsday.

Edgar Reveals Insane Truth About Gillian!
In the clip Edgar saw, Gillian is explaining the promise ring and how it’s lost its meaning. This really rocked Edgar to the core and made him cry.
“It feels like I don’t know her,” he said through tears. “She says one thing to me and there’s something else going on inside her head.”
NBCUniversalIt’s during the bonfire Edgar exposes a truth about Gillian that NOBODY knew.
He told Walberg that prior to coming to “Temptation Island” he caught her sending “explicit” text messages to her ex-boyfriend.
And it wasn’t just one or two messages, it was messaging that lasted for several months.
Remember, up until now, Gillian has not admitted to cheating on Edgar, and has played the “angel” in the relationship.
