MTV's 'The Real World' Star Sarah Becker's Tragic Cause Of Death Revealed

Sarah Becker, a reality television star who appeared on MTV's "The Real World," has passed away.

The late star first gained national attention in 1996 when she appeared on the fifth season of "The Real World" in Miami, where she was 25 years old and worked at a comic bookstore in La Jolla, California. Fans may remember the 13th episode of the season when she brought a puppy back to the house.

Unfortunately, Sarah Becker, 52, tragically passed away earlier this week.

According to a family member who spoke to TMZ, Sarah Becker died by suicide early last week at her home in Illinois. Last year, she relocated to the area to care for family, with plans to eventually move back to California.

It's been reported that she has been grappling with mental health challenges in recent months, exacerbated by the responsibilities of caring for her ailing mother and sister, along with a skateboarding accident.

Following her time on the reality television show, she obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara and went on to become a personal life coach and a licensed marriage and family therapist. She ran a private practice in San Luis Obispo, California, offering expert counseling on issues pertaining to relationships, self-esteem, trauma, anger management, domestic abuse, and PTSD.

Sarah's family remembers her as a selfless person who always cared for others, but never seemed to prioritize herself. She was 52 years old.
