Even though she's not well known outside of her little niche on MTV's hit show, "Wild N'Out," she's been making the rounds of the blog-osphere lately thanks to her comments about Apryl Jones. Hasn't she ever heard the expression, "don't start nothing, won't be nothing"? Uh huh. Are Jess Hilarious and Apryl Jones feuding?
Born Jessica Moore in Baltimore, MD, Jess Hilarious isn't just a comedian — she's also a sometime actress. She's made appearances in the sitcom Rel (which, while funny, only lasted for one season), on the British show Stereotype, and in the short film Town vs. Gown, which was nominated for an Empire Award for Best Short Film. Jess Hilarious has also won a BET Social Award for Best Clapback (in other words, "best insult"), and has been nominated for BET Social Awards for Best Hustle and Best LMAO!
But let's look at what we know about why Jess Hilarious is making the news, now, and whether she and Apryl Jones are feuding.
1. She went on Love & Hip Hop and acted messy.
Heavy.com reports that Jess Hilarious acted like a total and complete mess when she went on Love & Hip Hop. The outlet reports that she left a series of voice notes for Moniece Slaughter, in which she detailed the trials and travails of fellow Love & Hip Hop cast-member and now ex-friend, Apryl Jones. Without going into the details about the bird chirping involved in this scenario (because, really, it's messy), Moniece replied by simply saying that she wanted to get full custody of her son with Lil Fizz because she didn't think Apryl was a good influence on her son.
2. Wait ... Jess Hilarious is friends with Apryl Jones? That Apryl Jones?
Well, to put it simply, Jess Hilarious was friends with Apryl Jones — as in, the past tense. Still, yes, the one in the same Apryl Jones that we at YourTango previously told you about — the ex-bae of Omarion, with whom she has children, who took up with Omarion's B2K bandmate Lil Fizz, who has a baby with Moniece Slaughter. THE MESS OF IT ALL!
3. Fans of the show took up for Moniece Slaughter and slammed Jess Hilarious.
According to Atlanta Black Star, Jess Hilarious did all this because she believes that Moniece Slaughter is still in love with Lil Fizz, and she was trying to spare her friend from the heartache of it all by encouraging her to break away from him. That didn't stop fans of the show from referring to Jess Hilarious as 'disloyal' and 'riding the Hot Mess Express' for inserting herself in the middle of relationship business that had nothing to do with her.
4. Even 50 Cent got in the middle of the mess.
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson never met a drama scene that he didn't like, so according to SOHH.com, he stuck his nose in the middle of the Jess Hilarious drama, too. Because 50 Cent got himself banned from Instagram, the outlet screenshot his opinions and placed it on their Twitter page. You can check it out below.
5. Jess Hilarious then said that the drama was manufactured.
"Comedian Jess Hilarious is clarifying why she came off disingenuous to fans of Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood after appearing on the show this week to apologize to Apryl Jones. Jess says the answer is simple: she was faking it," reported Bossip.
6. They're all friends again.
In a follow-up report by Bossip, it was not only revealed that Jess Hilarious was faking the funk when it came to the drama between Apryl Jones and Moniece Slaughter, but they recently all confirmed that they're all friends. That's right: Apryl Jones, Lil Fizz, Moniece Slaughter, and Jess Hilarious are all friends.
