The British singer was accused of ‘Blackfishing’ by making her skin darker, voice sound different and sporting a particular hairstyle famously made popular by African Americans.
Jesy Is Preparing To Make A Comeback After ‘Blackfishing’ Drama

On Thursday, June 30, the former Little Mix member posted a photo of herself in a recording studio with the caption, “We back We back.”
Jesy then posted a video of herself walking into the actual recording booth.
Sounding a little apprehensive she sang, “Back to the dreaded booth,” before letting out a fake cry.

Jesy also made it known that she’s smarter than a lot of people given she’s left-handed
“Just doing my homework guys and yes if you didn’t know I’m left-handed, which means we are more intelligent,” she said matter of fact.
The songstress recently shared and drop-dead gorgeous photo of herself in a red bikini, but it was the caption she wrote along with it that got a lot of attention.
The cryptic message read, “You never miss a good thing till it leaves you…”
Jesy mysteriously deleted the caption minutes after uploading, which tells me she maybe regretted using the caption. Maybe it was a bit to pointed and blunt toward someone?

The caption could’ve been a message aimed at her ex-boyfriend Harry James whom she broke up with in April.
Jesy was the first to unfollow Harry and he followed suit.
The breakup also came ahead of Jesy relaunching her solo career, which was originally met with less and great fanfare when she initially released “Boyz” earlier this year.
Did Harry Nearly DERAIL Her Solo Career?
He was the sole editor of her music video for “Boyz” and well, we all saw how that turned out.
It’s reported she cut ties with him soon after the release because he nearly derailed her solo-career.
According to claims reported by Daily Mail, she “severed ties with her on-off boyfriend Harry James in a ‘drastic’ bid to keep her solo career afloat, along with the rest of her team.”
MEGAJesy and Harry reportedly reignited their relationship in September 2021 after 2017 breakup.
At the time of the release of her music video for “Boyz,” Jesy was accused of “blackfishing.” He was credited as the sole editor of her “Boyz” music video.
A source told The Sun, “It may seem savage but it’s business. The bottom line is that video almost derailed her chances of a solo career. Changes had to be made and this was one of them. Because of their history it was decided a working split was needed.”
Jesy embarked on a solo career after leaving Little Mix abruptly in December 2019. At the time of her departure from the girl group made famous by “The X Factor UK,” Jesy cited mental health concerns.
