The seven-time Grammy winner shared a profile picture of the late “Full House” star on a black background, accompanied by the words, “This person is now named Bob.”

Underneath the smiling image of the stand-up personality, Mayer penned a sweet note from himself and the rest of the entertainer’s loved ones, using the plural “we” instead of “I.”

The 44-year-old began by wishing the late star a happy birthday before noting how much he and fans missed the “Raising Dad” actor’s presence in their lives. The songwriter wrote,

“We all miss you terribly down here. Though the days without you keep growing, so too does our grasp on everything we adore and admire about you.”

According to the “New Light” artist, Saget taught those around him how to love by using himself as an example and bringing “endless joy at all times” to the people around him.

Although he started his message as a voice for the masses, Mayer ended the heartfelt caption as a single body, expressing his desire to have one final meal with his favorite buddy.

The Billboard chart-topper’s final sentence read, “I just wish so badly we were getting dinner tonight. I love you so much.”

Naturally, this post received numerous likes and comments, including messages from celebrities, fans, and Saget’s family.

Kelly Rizzo, the “Dirty Daddy” author’s widow, replied to the post by confirming her late husband’s love for the “Wild Blue” singer.

“Love you John,” she began, “And boy did he love you. And he’d love nothing more than dinner with you tonight, and you two would be lost in deep conversation while I am just entertained by you both.”

The food blogger added that if the dinner had happened, the trio would have ended the night by ordering a “big sundae or a plate of cookies” while making plans for another dinner date.

Rizzo joked about how the “Gravity” musician always felt like a “third wheel” on their dinner dates, whereas the “Eat Travel Rock TV” creator believed she was the one imposing on the guitarist’s dates with her husband.

Other celebrities like Matt McCormick, Zookëper, Joe Russo, Jensen Karp, Rachel Feinstein, Andy Cohen, and Jeff Ross also showed their support by dropping red heart emojis or praising Mayer’s post.

Kelly Rizzo Marked Late Husband’s 66th Birthday With Precious Memories And A Martini

As previously shared by The Blast, the “Fuller House” star’s widow celebrated his posthumous 66th birthday with a series of photos and videos taken from the couple’s trip to Mexico in 2021.

According to the comedian’s wife, the lovebirds always celebrated their birthdays, which were two days apart, by enjoying a romantic getaway.

However, last year’s event was a significant milestone for the partners who ensured they made each other feel “so special” during their trip to Mexico.

Unknown to the dynamic pair, that experience marked the last time the couple would celebrate their birthdays as lovers.

In January 2022, “The Aristocrats” actor died in his rented room at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida, after suffering from a brain bleed caused by a blunt head injury.

Authorities have yet to discover what caused the fatal injury; however, foul play has been ruled out as a toxicology report proved that no alcohol or drugs were found in Saget’s system at the time of his death.

In her emotional caption, Rizzo stated that she felt grateful to the world for showering her husband with all the love and support he deserved during his lifetime.

The widow also noted that she would honor the comedian’s memory by having a martini, a drink she knew the entertainer would have wanted her to have.
