During Thursday’s episode of “The View,” Joy Behar subtly referenced her departure from the show in 2013, seemingly throwing shade at the decision. As the hosts reflected on the legacy of the late Tina Turner, Behar took a moment to allude to her two-year hiatus.

“You know, there’s something about her,” Behar began, per The Sun. “I’ve been on this show for 26 years, right, with a small hiatus, as we all know — forced.” She paused briefly as laughter filled the studio.

The seasoned comedian went on to express her connection to Turner’s passing. “For some reason, this death has gotten me in my kishkas,” Behar confessed. “I don’t know what it is, something about her that she just got to me; I could start crying right now,” she concluded.

‘I Was Glad To Be Fired’

Behar was one of the hit ABC show’s original hosts alongside creator Barbara Walters, Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, and Meredith Vieira.

Of course, I can!”
