Justin Bieber’s touring company is being sued by a worker who claims he was hit by a car while unloading equipment.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, a man who was tasked with unloading a tractor-trailer connected to the pop star, claims he was hit by a car while working on the truck.

In the lawsuit, the person says “On or about July 26, 2021 (he) was unloading equipment from a tractor-trailer on or near Avenue Stanford in the city of Santa Clarita, in the county of Los Angeles.” At the time, he says the truck was parked in a “2-way turning lane” and he was hired to unload the load “owned by” the defendants.

Unfortunately, during the offloading, he was struck by an oncoming vehicle in the street. He claims the truck was “negligently, carelessly, recklessly, unskillfully, and unlawfully” controlled and parked the truck which caused him to get run over by the car.

In the suit, the alleged victim doesn’t specifically describe his injuries due to the crash, but says, “the unlawful conduct” of the defendants caused him to sustain “severe bodily injuries.” Now, he claims as a result of the accident he continues to have “pain and suffering.”

The worker is looking for Bieber’s company to cover medical bills and any “further medical expenses” in the future.

Interestingly, the lawsuit comes just weeks after Justin Bieber announced he would be canceling his summer tour. The pop star canceled several dates on his “Justice World Tour” due to his Ramsay Hunt Syndrome diagnosis.  Back in June, he took to his social media showing his fans that the right side of his face was temporarily paralyzed.

It’s unclear if the equipment unloading was connected to the tour ending, but Justin has since been spotted out this week in Hollywood with his wife, Hailey Bieber, for dinner at LAVO Ristorante.

“Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed. As a result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour. After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me,” Justin began.

He continued, “This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need some time to rest and get better. I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!”
