Friends beg Putin’s lover Alina Kabaeva to persuade him to end the war

Friends of Vladimir Putin’s “Eva Braun” Alina Kabaeva are begging her to go to Moscow to persuade him to end the war – as she faces expulsion from Switzerland.

“Alina’s female friends are begging her to fly to Putin and persuade him to end the war,” a source told Page Six. “He doesn’t seem to be listening to anybody, but perhaps he might listen to her.”

The source added, “Putin is surrounded by rings and rings of security. Alina says she doesn’t know if she can get to him – and even if she does – she doesn’t know if she’ll be able to get out again to be with their kids.”

Page Six exclusively reported earlier this month that the Russian president has allegedly been hiding his lover and their kids in the once-neutral European nation.

Kabaeva, an Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast, reportedly has four children – two young boys and twin girls – with Putin, 69, though the two never officially confirmed it.

The kids were allegedly born in Switzerland and all have Swiss passports, according to a source, who tells us Kabaeva, 38, is believed to hold passports under a number of different names and nationalities.

We’re told Kabaeva and the kids are said to be hiding out in a luxury private chalet owned by a Putin loyalist near the French border.

While the Swiss government allegedly has no solid information on whether Kabaeva and her kids with Putin are sheltering in the country, the source added, “Alina could be traveling under a number of different names and passports. She flies on private jets and would not risk traveling under her own name.”

Meanwhile, more than 50,000 people have demanded Kabaeva and their kids be thrown out of Switzerland amid Putin’s actions.

Citizens of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus have been appealing to the Swiss Confederation with a petition titled Connect Eva Braun with her Führer – likening Kabaeva to Hitler’s longtime companion and wife Braun – on Change.org.

“She is the favorite wife of delusional dictator and war criminal who has been treacherously attacking Ukraine over the past weeks,” the petition states.

“For the first time in modern history, your country violated its neutrality, which it did not even do vis-à-vis Nazi Germany in the 20th century, and joined the sanctions against Putin and his surroundings. And now his favorite mistress with her children is hiding within the borders of your state!”

Switzerland’s decision not to remain neutral and to adopt a tough stance on Russia surprised many in the international community. The Swiss Federal Council announced on Feb. 28 that it had frozen assets of a list of high-profile Russian individuals and companies.

“We want to remind you that Alina Kabaeva is not only a woman who stained herself with an association with the Russian dictator, but also a criminal against humanity. In particular, she was among the initiators of the draft law, which in Russia was called the ‘law of scoundrels’ or ‘the law of Dima Yakovlev,’” the description in the petition further states.

“This shameful move deprived thousands of Russian orphans of the possibility of being adopted abroad. Consequently many applications already open at the time for the adoption of seriously ill children were canceled and applicants for qualified medical care simply died.”

Kabaeva is one of the most decorated athletes in rhythmic gymnastics history, with two Olympic medals, 14 World Championship medals and 21 European Championship medals. International pressure is mounting to strip her of her medals.

Kabaeva – who was once named “Russia’s most flexible woman” – went on to become a pro-Kremlin member of parliament for eight years.

In 2014 she was appointed to the board of the state-owned National Media Group – with a reported salary of $10.5 million a year – which is currently spreading misinformation to Russian nationals about the war in Ukraine.

But unlike other Russians in Putin’s inner circle, Kabaeva has not been sanctioned.

“Please consider it [throwing her out of Switzerland] especially against the backdrop of sanctions imposed on her as a top executive of Russian propaganda media,” the petition urged.

It has also been reported that Putin has also hidden his first wife, former flight attendant Lyudmila Shkrebneva, and their two daughters in an “underground city” in Siberia.

The high-tech bunker is located in the Altai Mountains and was designed for protection from a nuclear war, according to political scientist Valery Solovey.

Observers have seen ventilation points in the grounds surrounding the mountain hideout, and a high-voltage line linked to a 110-kilovolt substation, enough to power a small city.
