Drama: It comes as it was claimed that Kanye was reported to London’s Metropolitan Police by locals who accused him of breaching quarantine rules

All arrivals from the US are required to complete a two week quarantine upon arrival in measures introduced to curb the spread of the virus, according to government guidelines.

Those who ignore the rules and breach the quarantine could be fined up to £1,000.

In a statement a representative for Metropolitan Police told the publication: ‘We are aware of reports of a possible breach of quarantine legislation and have established that the individual left the UK on the same day as they arrived.

‘Therefore, we will not be pursuing this matter at this time.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Kanye West and Metropolitan Police for further comment.

At the time Kanye’s fans also speculated whether the rapper had adhered to strict coronavirus quarantine measures in place for all those travelling into the country from the US.
