Even royals love a good sale.

The Princess of Wales stepped out today for her first solo engagement since the death of Queen Elizabeth last month, wearing an autumnal mustard yellow dress by British high street brand Karen Millen — and it’s on sale with an extra discount today only.

Wearing the label’s “Structured Crepe Forever Pleat” dress ($300, plus extra 15% off with code DRESS; originally $376) the princess, 40, visited the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, England to see how the facility supports moms and babies.

The frock, which features a notched collar and puffed sleeves, finishes with a sharply pleated skirt and includes a matching belt — and if yellow’s not your thing, it comes in black, white, blush and baby blue.

This is the first time we’ve seen the princess in a Karen Millen design since she married Prince William, but in her pre-royal life, she was photographed wearing several pieces from the retailer.

She added navy suede accessories, wearing heels by Gianvito Rossi ($725) and a matching clutch by Emmy London ($420), but broke out some new jewels with Emily Mortimer’s “Hera” diamond hoop earrings ($894).

Today’s sunny yellow look marks a return to colorful dresses for the princess after a stretch of wearing black during the period of mourning for Queen Elizabeth II, who died on September 8 — last week, she wore black trousers and a black sweater along with a cheerful red coat for her first visit to Wales since receiving her new title.

Middleton added a medical mask as she entered the hospital to tour the facility and meet moms and babies, and had the opportunity to cradle a premature newborn as she chatted to a new mom about her experience being treated in the Special Care Baby Unit.

The Princess of Wales, who serves as patron of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance, also met with staff members responsible for addressing new moms’ pre-natal and post-natal mental health at the hospital.

Today’s visit was also a natural extension of Middleton’s involvement with The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which she launched in 2021.
