‘Million Dollar Listing’ star Josh Flagg scores $9M home after announcing divorce

Josh Flagg has added another property to his real estate portfolio after announcing his divorce from husband Bobby Boyd

The “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” star and celebrity broker, 36, bought a famous manse in the coveted Flats neighborhood of Beverly Hills with an asking price of $9,200,000.

The home was scored in an off-market transaction and purchased in a trust owned by Flagg, he confirms to Page Six.

Property records indicate the home on North Bedford Drive once belonged to esteemed interior designer Barbara Lockhart and her deceased husband, Herman Blackman.

The property — which closed Tuesday — spans more than 7,100 square feet with seven bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and boasts chauffeur’s quarters and a three-car garage.

The 1926 Italian villa is known among local residents for the massive star hanging above the front courtyard fountain.

In a statement provided to Page Six and first reported by TMZ, Flagg said that his separation from Boyd — a Versace and Calvin Klein model-turned-real estate broker — did not impact his decision.

“Just because Bobby and I will be getting divorced, that does not mean life stops. Business continues as usual,” he explained.

“I have had my eye on this home since I was a little boy,” he said. “It has not been on the market in close to 60 years. It was actually an opportune time because a year ago when it was brought to my attention that the owners may consider selling, I was halfway through renovations on another house that I had hired and fired three contractors, architects, and fought with the city [of Beverly Hills] for close to two years to build what I wanted.”

Flagg added, “But when this came across my desk, I stopped everything and was immediately determined to get this home. It’s always been my favorite home in the [Beverly Hills] Flats.”

The LA native told us that he had been “essentially aggressively courting the owners” to sell him the house for years and was grateful to finally have a breakthrough.

“If you push and push hard enough, eventually I find that you get what you want,” he said.

Flagg, known for his lavish dinner parties, will likely be entertaining such close friends as LA mayoral candidate Rick Caruso, Melissa Rivers, socialite Nikki Haskel, Candy Spelling and daughter Tori Spelling and Paula Abdul at the new house.

The star-studded company should help as he navigates a new life without Boyd, whom he wed in 2017.

“Bobby and I are divorcing,” Flagg wrote in part via Instagram on March 4, moments after Page Six exclusively revealed the breakup

“This might sound abrupt but I felt I should be transparent from the top rather than bury the headline. This was not a rash or impulsive decision. We have been very thoughtful before coming to this conclusion. It was not a lack of love but rather the two of us growing in different directions and wanting very different things for ourselves. I care deeply about Bobby and have nothing but love and respect for him. I want how we separate from each other to represent that.”

Josh Flagg and Bobby BoydFlagg announced his divorce from Boyd earlier this month.

Flagg, who has been living at the Beverly Hills Hotel for the past few months, shared renderings of designs for the rebuild of the new Bedford house with us. He is collaborating with star architect William Hefner on the project that will cost roughly $7 million.

Earlier this year, Flagg made headlines when he left Rodeo Realty and moved to Douglas Elliman.

Flagg comes from an esteemed Los Angeles family. Son of Michael Flagg and Cindy Platt Flagg, his late grandmother Edith Flagg was most notable for bringing polyester to the United States in 1967 and later securing a monopoly on the fabric.

Meanwhile, Josh runs his charitable foundation as well as his successful real estate business.
