On Friday, Kardashian posted one of the outfits from her red and pink-themed Valentine’s Day lingerie sets. The currently single reality star showed off the lavender-colored silk onesie in a mirror selfie in her wardrobe. The skimpy cut-out outfit had a hot pink lace trim as well as very thin arm straps.

The onesie had a large cut over her belly which showed off some underboob and a bottom part with a slight ruffle. Kardashian captioned the post, “Shop @skims Valentines Collection.”

In the first picture, Kardashian can be seen sitting on her sides, and in the second, on her knees while pouting at the camera. The reality star did not pair the skimpy outfit with any jewelry and left her dark center-parted locks in a long braid.

According to the SKIMS website, the item costs $88 and is almost sold out. The onesie’s description read, “A cheeky, lace-adorned silk teddy with sexy front cut-out details. Features a plunging v-neck, flattering high-cut leg, adjustable straps, and 100% cotton gusset. Fits true to size.”

Although the SKIMS item is about to be sold out, several social media users did not like its design. Several comments called it “tacky,” while some claimed that Kardashian made use of “cheap material.” Some comments read, “Ok, I wasn’t the only one Thinkin’ it!!!! It’s giving Shein.”

Another follower wrote, “Looks like something you’d buy from Shein for $9,” to which someone replied, “annnnd it somehow costs $88. You’re tripping.” Shein is a clothing company that has garnered a bad reputation over the years for allegedly toxic clothing and poor working conditions.

“This looks so cheap,” someone else commented. “I thought the same thing. Like, who’s so stupid to think this doesn’t look cheaply/badly made,” another person opined.

Several other comments were more concerned about the clothing’s fitting and the potential of it giving its wearers a “wedgie.” A comment read, “Looks incredibly uncomfortable, [wedgie] city.” Another said, “It looks like it would give you an uncomfortable front wedgie lol.”

Kim Kardashian Sisters Flaunt New Valentine’s Day Lingerie

Kim is not the only Kardashian-Jenner clan member to pose with Valentine’s Day-inspired lingerie set. Kendall Jenner, her sister, took to her Instagram story recently to show off her set, saying she was “ready for vday.” Several skimpy outfits were in the picture, like a pair of high-waist briefs in different shades of red, pink, and white.

Jenner also showed off a pale pink lacy thong as well as a matching bralette and an all-in-one body suit with some a cut out at the front. Khloe posted the same picture on her social media with the caption, “cutest overload.”

Despite the sister’s evident enthusiasm to try on the outfits, according to The Sun, several social media users did not like them. Someone commented on a Reddit post of the picture, “These look exactly like the dollar bin thongs me and my friends used to get at Rue21 in the mall in middle school.” Several posts like this flooded the comment section.

SKIMS Slammed For Low-Quality Clothes And ‘No-Refund’ Policy

According to reports, in December 2022, Kardashian’s clothing brand SKIMS was criticized by customers for having “cheap quality” clothes and its no refund policy. They filed almost 300 complaints on Better Business Bureau, giving the clothing brand 1.24 stars out of five on the platform.

The complaints ranged from easily ripped fabrics of the newly bought items to the company refusing to refund the aggrieved customer. One such review read per The Sun, “Bought a bodysuit for over $60 for my daughter in April. She opened it end of July early August for her birthday. She wore it three times and never washed it, and the fabric ripped heavily.”

It continued, “They refuse to refund their faulty product. Should not spend 60 plus for something you can only wear three times.”

SKIMS responded by pointing out that the customer tried to return the item “outside of the return timeframe” and that the clothing item was used. They were, however, given a courtesy refund, and further action was taken.
