Kirstie Alley Would Have Been 72 This Year, Daughter Shares Emotional Tribute

The late Kirstie Alley’s daughter, Lillie Parker is sharing a special message to her mom on what would have been her 72^nd birthday.

Lillie Stevenson Misses Her Mom

Lillie shared an image on IG of her mom in four black and white photos when she was starting out in the acting business. She captioned the post, “happy birthday mama … wish you were here.”

The iconic actress passed away on December 5 after a private battle with colon cancer. The news was shared by Lillie and her brother True in a joint statement on Instagram. “To all our friends, far and wide around the world…We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce, and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered,” she said of the Emmy-winning actress’s short battle.

“She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead. As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother,” they recall of the Fat Actress star.

Lillie and True spoke about their unique mom. “Our mother’s zest and passion for life, her children, grandchildren, and her many animals, not to mention her eternal joy of creating, were unparalleled and leave us inspired to live life to the fullest just as she did.”

Lillie Parker’s Post Was Met With Love

Parker’s post honoring her mom was sweet and subtle. Her followers and mom’s friends shared likes and comments supporting her. The red heart emoji was used repeatedly because truly what do you say to someone with such a fresh wound?

Lillie ended the emotional message about her mom, “We thank you for your love and prayers and ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time. With love always.” This is how some of her followers paid tribute to her mother underneath the birthday post.

They also commented about how beautiful Kirstie looked in the pics Lillie shared with her message. The photos are reminiscent of composite cards and appear to feature Kirstie in either the last 80s or early 90s.

Kirstie Alley Knew How To Work It!

Kirstie struck four separate poses in the black and white photos that Lillie shared. One is with her arm over her head and her hand playing with her hair, she looks directly at the camera giving face!

The second photo features Kirstie’s hair pulled back and resting on her shoulder in an elegant ponytail. In the third and fourth photos, she looks off into the distance, in one she has a serious expression, and in the other photo, she smiles slightly.

Kirstie looks beautiful. “Love these pics. Beautiful ❤️” writes one follower. “Such a babe!! Sending lots of love Lillie❤️” writes another. “Stunning,” agreed another.

Kirstie’s death came as a surprise to many because she kept her short battle with the illness a secret. Many blamed her devotion to Scientology as to why she possibly didn’t get the help she needed.
