Kristin Cavallari Uses A TELLING Word To Describe Her Former Marriage!

Kristin Cavallari has had a heck of a time as a single gal so far!

The former reality TV staple has been anything but mum over the last few years when it comes to sharing her experience following her divorce from former NFL superstar, Jay Cutler.

The single mom has been all kinds of frank about how matters between her and her ex-husband went down. She has also been more than ready to jump into the dating pool again. According to one of our reports chronicling the “Laguna Beach” star’s newfound single life, she had revealed to TMZ per Us Weekly she “had been partying for two years straight” in the wake of her divorce from Cutler.

Cavallari is keeping her excitement in check, though. Motherhood is one of her biggest priorities, and she has resolved to allow her kiddos to have some involvement in her process of finding the new perfect partner.

Cavallari’s eight-year-old son Jaxon has a specific requirement for the next man to enter his mother’s life. Cavallari revealed to E! per The Blast, that Jaxon would like to see her date someone who is “a lot older.”

Cavallari, for her part, also has some new requirements for her future men to meet! In an effort to wade through her new prospects who slide into her DMs, she has set the boundary; they must be verified on social media.

“I can’t filter through all of my DMs, but I can see those blue check marks, honey! I don’t like people that often, and I’m pretty picky, I guess,” she told Amanda Hirsch during an interview on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, “but I’m not going to settle. I’m going to stay picky.” (via The Blast)

Cavallari And Cutler Practice Peacefully Co-Parenting

Cavallari is also focusing on the well-being of her three kiddos as she and their father transition into the co-parenting stage.

“I’m proud of the way we’ve raised our kids,” she explained in a People magazine interview as per our report, “I’ve done a few controversial things apparently, but I am so confident in my decisions. My kids are happy and healthy, and that’s all I care about,” she said.

While her children are one of her biggest priorities, she also values the time she can grab for herself, and recognizes the perks of having designated time for her own interests.

“I’ve gotten my social life back, you know,” she explained, referring to the weeks where her children are spending time away with their Dad. “I’ve seen my friends, I’m able to travel, I’ve got my ‘me time’ back. I’m able to take really good care of myself now- physically, mentally, emotionally- because I don’t have the kids for a week. And then, when I do have them, I am ready, like I am supermom.” (via The Blast)

Cavallari Prioritizes Keeping The Peace While Staying Mum About Her Personal Life

Cavallari is able to hit the breaks when it comes to her willingness to publicly share details about her personal life.

Keeping her comments about Cutler PG around their two sons and daughter is incredibly important for this mama bear.

Cavallari gave insight into her practice on the latest episode of the “Call Your Daddy” podcast via People, explaining how she remains careful with her comments about Cutler when their children are within earshot, but not before revealing exactly how she feels her marriage to Cutler was.

“It was toxic, I think period, end of story,” she said. “That’s all I kind of need to say.”

Cavallari also revealed in her interview, that her kids can be internet sleuths.

“…My oldest son Googles us now, and I just want to be very careful” when it comes to speaking publicly about her ex.

A subject Cavallari can freely speak on, however, is her reality TV past! She recently teamed up with her ex-boyfriend and “Laguna Beach” love interest, Stephen Colletti, to spill all of the sunscreen about the series.

“We do not hold back at all,” she said, describing ‘Back To The Beach With Kristin and Stephen’s content. “We really do break everything down…” (via The Blast)
