Action for Children works to ensure children across the UK feel safe and happy, providing services which allow them to step in to help when times get tough.
Christmas should be a magical period, spending time with family and exchanging presents, but for thousands of children across the UK this will not be the case.
Due to the global pandemic and a huge change in the financial situation of many, lots of children will face adversity this Christmas.
Some will be waking up on Christmas Day homeless, others living with domestic violence or suffering from abuse and neglect, whilst many will be going hungry.
Going for it: Strictly’s Neil Jones also put on a show as he took part in the charity photoshoot
Ready for the season: He went for a smart grey top while posing next to the tree
The charity is also hosting a own virtual carol concert, Starry Night, where families can experience an evening of Christmas carols, exclusive performances, readings, and sparkling entertainment from some famous faces.
Tickets for this cost £10 per household and a Virtual Christmas Quiz is also being planned to complete the charity’s line-up of pandemic-proof festive events.
Meanwhile, Love Island’s Olivia has already shown she’s feeling festive early this year after revealing she has transformed her and Alex’s £1M Essex home for the season.
Found a friend: Made In Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire beamed a smile as he cosied up to a cute decoration

Larking around: Ore Oduba also posed up a storm while modelling the charity’s black jumper
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the star revealed their spacious home is ready for Christmas as she gave fans a glimpse of their VERY lavish decorations.
The couple enlisted the help of South Wales based AMInteriorsByDesign to create a winter wonderland complete with four life-sized nutcrackers.
As well as the statement statues, which stand either side of the feature staircase, the bannisters have also been covered with a twinkling green garland.
Not forgetting to kit out the exterior of her and Alex’s home, Olivia opted for two huge Christmas trees to frame her front door alongside two more nutcrackers.
