Model Suzy Cortez Claims Being Kicked Out Of An Airbnb For Being ‘Too Hot’

Brazil’s Miss Bum Bum, the famous Playboy Model Suzy Cortez, is again attracting headlines. But this time it is something pretty absurd. Suzy Cortez told Jam Press that she was apparently kicked out of her rented Airbnb for being ‘too hot’.

The Male owner supposedly threw her things out for being too attractive. This comes after Suzy went to visit her parents in São Paulo. She spent $1000 on rent in January so that she could spend some time in the city and meet her loved ones. But to her disguise, the male owner wasn’t ready for attractive women just yet.

Suzy remembered that she couldn’t even stay at the place for 48 hours, and the male owner threw her out. The owner made a monstrous and horrifying move, throwing her belongings in the trash. The apparent reason for this was that she was too good-looking.

Suzy absolutely feels persecuted after this incident, as anyone else would. She said:

‘This is the biggest prejudice and nightmare I’ve ever lived. I am extremely embarrassed and psychologically shaken. A trip to see my parents turned into a horror movie.’

Suzy is now prepping to file an official complaint and sue Airbnb for this maltreatment. She claims that this was the result of ‘hot girl phobia’.

Was Suzy Cortez Really The Victim Of ‘Hot Girl Phobia’?

‘Hot Girl Phobia’ exists in reality. It is the phenomenon when men, usually, fear approaching and interacting with women who are too hot for them. It can be the result of continuous rejection from women, or even childhood trauma of being called-out ‘ugly’ publically.

There is another term for this called ‘venustraphobia’ which is the fear of beautiful women. Beauty is subjective, of course, but the fear of beauty or beautiful women might lead to activities that make places hostile for women. Maybe this is what happened with Suzy Cortez. The male owner was so anxious and scared of her that the only way to curb his emotions was to throw Suzy out.

There is no official statement from Airbnb about this incident yet. But it throws light upon the safety of women (especially when they are famous) in different places of the world.

This is not the first time Suzy has made headlines for being too attractive. She recently made headlines by posting pictures with the Argentinian flag. This was in praise of Lionel Messi receiving the Ballon d’Or 2021. Obviously, her style was ‘playboy-ish‘ and she went viral on the internet.

She also made headlines after revealing her OnlyFans income. Surprisingly, after winning Miss Bum Bum twice, her OnlyFans account was boosted, and she received all kinds of photo requests. She claims that she even made 50% more profit by selling her feet pics to the fans.

She said, ‘At OnlyFans as I am one of the main influencers I have different earnings from other models. The photos and videos I use for my account are the same as the ones I do for Playboy and my fans on here always respect me and never cross the line. My fans are from all over the world and on my social networks there are millions and sadly I can’t always talk to everyone, but on OnlyFans I can speak to them.’

She also made news when she had to reject a $100k offer from a fan. The offer was to tattoo the fan’s face on her crotch. So, it is not a surprise that models like Suzy Cortez might be victims of the ‘Hot Girl Phobia’.

Coming back to the case, Suzy revealed that the owner complained about her clothing and her lifestyle. He went on to point out that people like Suzy aren’t welcome at the place. She said, ‘From the second day I started to receive complaints about my gym clothes, which by the way were leggings. The host simply said that I would have to leave the apartment because it was inhabited by familiar people and not like me’

After this, she received a message that her Airbnb reservation was canceled. Although she was refunded, the incident left a traumatic mark on her mind. She even narrated how the male owner entered her place and started picking out her things,

‘I was startled when the host entered the property I was in and took my belongings and threw them in the trash, He only came in because I suffer persecution for being too pretty.’

Cortez also pointed out that she did not do any damage to the property while she was living there, and she took photographs of the place to prove it. After this, Suzy sought the help of the police. Suzy claims that even the police thought that the incident was absurd,

‘Even the police themselves thought it was absurd. I am now at total loss and psychologically shaken. Being me the victim of all this, why? Prejudice because I’m famous, or have been on the covers of Playboys all over the world?’

Airbnb was in contact with Suzy throughout this traumatic incident. They offered to help and they restored her profile. They said that they will cooperate with the investigation.
