Michael Madsen, Rob Morrow, And Jay Mohr Join Cast Of Indie Drama Feature ‘Max Dagan For Writer/Director/Producer Terre Weisman

EXCLUSIVE: Michael Madsen (The Hateful Eight, Reservoir Dogs), Rob Morrow (Quiz Show, Numb3rs), and Jay Mohr (Jerry McGuire, Hereafter) have joined the cast of theindependent dramatic feature, Max Dagan. The third film, written and directed by Terre Weisman (Developing Sheldon, The APlate), follows Max Dagan, played by Zachary Gordon (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), as heworks to earn his dying father a compassionate release from prison. In desperation, Max seeks the help of Alaina (played by newcomer Lindsey Dresbach), the daughter ofthe man his father killed.

Kirk Fox (Reservation Dogs, Forgetting Sarah Marshall),Jeffrey Ross (The Wedding Ringer, Roast Battle), Rob Brownstein (The Shrink Next Door, Velvet Buzzsaw), LisaRoumain (Yellowstone, Avatar), Jacob Wysocki (Unfriended, Pitch Perfect), andEugenia Kuzmina (The Gentlemen, Bad Moms) round outthe cast.

“Attracting such talented actors with this script, adapted from my novel, is a testament tothis original story that has been over a decade in the making. I’m truly honored tocollaborate with this incredible cast.” said Weisman. Terre and Mitch Weisman (Creative Balance Films), alongside Rafi Jacobs, Stephen Mastrocola, and Liana Montemayor (under their newly-formed banner Static Films), and Barry Katz (Misery Loves Company, Good Luck Chuck, My Best Friend’s Girl) through Barry Katz Entertainment are producing.

The film was cast by Miriam Hoffman and Candice Bernstein of Hoffman Bernstein Casting.
