Courtney Stodden Shows How Wearing Underwear When It Rains Is A 'Habit'

Courtney Stodden was all smiles for a fun Instagram share that mentioned lingerie, the weather, and champagne earlier this year. In February, the former teen bride and reality star flaunted her killer curves in plunging undies for a gallery of snaps, admitting that wearing lingerie when the heavens open is a "habit." Seemingly out for fun as she balanced an upside-down glass on her head, Courtney delighted her fans with her figure-flaunting photos, although she chose to disable comments. Showing off her clear, makeup-free skin and long brown hair, Courtney Stodden returned in the same look in subsequent photos, striking poses in the same setting and eventually revealing herself to be sitting on a clear perspex chair. Here, the Couples Therapy alum flashed her shapely legs and waistline as she wore a black pair of underpants. Courtney has largely proven an empowering figure as she continues to document getting out of her teen marriage. The star was just 16 when she married a then 50-year-old Hutchison, with 2013 marking the first reports of the 2011-commenced marriage ending. Stodden has since struggled as some fans continue to throw a sexualized label on her, with such remarks manifesting the most in stripped-down photos.

When Courtney posed in a skimpy red bikini on a beach in April, some sent love, but many appeared to pity her. "It's heartbreaking your whole life has been sexualized," a popular reply read. That said, another fan had a different viewpoint as they responded: "This shouldn't be as rare as it is, however you being vulnerable & real. Courtney Stodden is now engaged to Jared Safier following her failed engagement to Chris Sheng. In May, the star looked happier than ever for a romantic kiss during an energetic hike with Jared, one captioned: "7am hike to the top of #hollywood." Film director Safier is 41 years old.
