Move Over Targaryens, The Targashians Are Here To Stay!

It’s either Kim Kardashian is a big fan of “House of the Dragon,” or she just enjoys cutting heads — regardless, we can’t get enough of her channeling her inner Rhaenyra, or is it Daemon?

Ahead of the premiere of the second season of the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s hit reality show, “The Kardashians,” the family decided to have a little fun with show host James Corden and participate in a hilarious spoof of the beloved HBO series.

Introducing The Targashians!

On Thursday, members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan teamed up with Corden to show off their acting skills while jumping on the “House of the Dragon” train. However, this time, they put their spin on it, starring in their own version titled “The Targashians Take Over Westeros.”

The scene opens with Corden cosplaying Viserys Targaryen as King Keith Targashian. A kingly Corden who dons the complete “HOTD” attire addresses the council and makes known his desire to pardon the offender, Grayson Lannister.

However, his speech gets interrupted by his younger sister, Kim Targashian, holding the Lannister’s head. She beheaded him. The siblings argue about who’s in charge, similar to the way Viserys and his younger brother Daemon Targaryen argue in the prequel to “Game of Thrones.”

The hilarious spoof is a combination of the HBO drama and Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” as we proceed to see Kim having a confessional just like it’s done in her family’s reality shows.

“I mean, Keith is the king right now but let’s be honest, he wouldn’t be anywhere without me,” Kim says while Keith declares in his win confessional that Iron Throne only belongs to him.

The “KUWTK” alum references the numerous thriving businesses under her belt, saying, “I run the armory shapewear line, the greyscale cosmetics company, dungeon reform….oh body butter” — meaning SKIMS, KKW Beauty, and her prison reform mission.

Next, we see Kim assuring Keith that “family always comes first” by giving him a smoothie, but it turns out it was poison. When Keith’s guard who tastes the smoothie dies, he calls out for mom — who is none other than momager Kris Jenner.

In the parody, Kris holds the title of Momager of Dragons and tries to quell the drama between her children. Kim’s Sports Illustrated cover is referenced in the spoof as Jester Illustrated, while Khloe Kardashian’s newborn son gets an honorary mention for having a dragon egg.

In the end, Keith and Kim reconcile and decide to share the Iron Throne, but just like in the original series where cliffhangers are the order, “The Targashians Take Over Westeros” is no different. As Keith and Kim enjoy the iron throne, a figure appears from the shadow with an axe and cuts off the crown.

Turns out it’s Kylie Jenner who holds a bloody axe and declares, “there’s only one king in this kingdom, and it’s King Kylie bitches!”

Fans Have Mixed Feelings About The Kardashian’s Parody

The video of the hilarious spoof has received over 80,000 views on YouTube and several comments from fans. While some users absolutely love their favorite reality stars cosplaying as the Targaryens, others aren’t so impressed.

One fan wrote, “these girls are marketing geniuses. They’re always gonna be embedded in your heads,” while another commented, “I’m not even going to lie… I would watch 8 seasons of this.”

This netizen remarked, “This is the absolute most hysterical thing I’ve seen this year. RiSe AnD sHiNe, ThE ThRoNe Is Mine,” while this die-hard Kardashian-Jenner fan noted, “This was a brilliant combination lol And they say Kim and family have no talent? Give them a script, and they’ll perform it brilliantly.”

However, the reception wasn’t so great on Twitter, as many claimed the spoof was “cringe.” One fan stated, “This offends me greatly. We’ll be sending regards soon enough.”
