Chazz Palminteri and daughter Gabriella cast in ‘Gravesend’ Season 2

Chazz Palminteri has been cast in the upcoming second season of the Amazon series “Gravesend” — and he’s following in the footsteps of one of his children.

The Oscar nominee’s daughter, Gabriella Palminteri, is also a star in the ’80s-set mob drama created by William DeMeo.

DeMeo, 50, exclusively tells Page Six that Gabriella, 20, was actually cast in the show before her famous father, 69.

“She’s really, really good,” he says of Gabriella’s acting. “She got the role on her own, based on how great her acting was. I think she’s a future star. … She really is going to be a big star down the road.”

DeMeo adds, “We auditioned a lot of people for her role, and we added her father later on. She auditioned and won the role.”

Gabriella’s credits also include an appearance on “Blue Bloods,” and she starred in a musical adaptation of her father’s famed “A Bronx Tale” at a Westchester theater as high school student.

DeMeo’s first film role was in Chazz’s 1993 drama “A Bronx Tale.”

“My first part happened on Chazz’s film. Because of Chazz’s movie, it all comes full circle,” DeMeo muses.

Chazz plays a family crime boss, Cesar Tremaldo, in “Gravesend.” Gabriella stars as the daughter of a character named “Crazy Chris,” played by James Russo. Sofia Milos, a veteran of “The Sopranos” and “CSI: Miami,” plays Gabriella’s mother, Tina Telva.

The show also stars DeMeo, William Forsyth, Andrew “Dice” Clay, Fran Drescher, Armand Assante, Chuck Zito, Martin Kove and “Sex and the City” comic Mario Cantone.

Vincent Pastore and Tony Darrow have been added to the cast for Season 2, and we hear that former nightclub doorman and Page Six fixture-turned-actor Wass Stevens also appears in the New York-based series.

Gabriella isn’t the only notable offspring on the show either: Ralph Macchio’s daughter, Julia Macchio — who has appeared in “Cobra Kai” — is also a star, as is DeMeo’s son, Cristian DeMeo. DeMeo proudly points out that the up-and-coming cast members have all made the cut on their own merit.

DeMeo also says that with Chazz on the show: “I have people that have been in the biggest mob movies ever, ‘A Bronx Tale,’ ‘Goodfellas,’ ‘The Sopranos,’ ‘Once Upon a Time in America,’ the ‘Gotti’ movie.”

We previously reported how Drescher, 64, stopped Brooklyn traffic while filming the show in Bensonhurst.

Last fall, the “Gravesend” cast and crew became real-life heroes when they rescued a 14-year-old boy who’d been pinned under a Chevrolet sedan a block from where the series was filming at the time.

People magazine reported that a woman had lost control of her car, according to a police report, at the intersection of West 2nd Street and Avenue X, and when she rear-ended a parked Toyota SUV, the teen wound up pinned under her car.

When the cast learned of the dangerous incident, they headed to the scene, and DeMeo told CBS New York that he comforted the victim.

“I was like, ‘You’re fine, buddy, you’re gonna be OK,'” he said.

Members of the show then lifted the car off the lad, and DeMeo told NBC New York at the time, “We were a little nervous because we were afraid if we lift it and God forbid it falls on him or if it’s attached to a part of his body.”

But the teen was successfully transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition, police reportedly said.

Chazz — who has been married to Gianna Ranaudo since 1992 — also has a son, Dante, who has appeared in the series “Godfather of Harlem” with his dad.

Chazz posted an clip to Instagram of the pair on the set with the caption, “My son Dante and I on the set of Godfather Of Harlem. He’s playing Gilberto my driver, It’s the first time we ever worked together.”
