On Sunday, the Film Independent celebrated the 37th annual Independent Spirit Awards.

Deaf actor Troy Kotsur scooped up the award for Best Supporting Male for “CODA.” In addition to his SAG Award, many consider him to be a frontrunner in the Oscar race.
