Andy Cohen In The Clear With Bravo After Alleged Misconduct Investigation

The Bravo executive, best known for producing "The Real Housewives" franchise, recently found himself at war with two of the show's former stars. However, McSweeney and Glanville's misconduct claims will not affect Cohen's career.

A spokesperson for Bravo recently broke the news about the network's continued partnership with Cohen amid his ongoing lawsuits. They claimed the executive producer had been cleared of all suspicions following investigations from a third party.

"An outside investigation into the recent allegations made by Brandi Glanville and Leah McSweeney against Andy Cohen has now been completed, and the claims were found to be unsubstantiated," the Bravo rep revealed.

The source also told ET that Cohen's popular talk show, "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," won't be affected by the scandal. The program, currently in its 21st season, has been renewed, proving that Bravo will continue to stand in the host's corner.

The result of Bravo's investigation into Cohen comes three months after Glanville accused him of inappropriate work behavior. She claimed the media personality sent her a video in which he made sexually suggestive comments.

The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star slammed him in a letter addressed to the show's production houses — NBCUniversal, Warner Bros. and Shed Media. In the note, Glanville described Cohen's actions as "an extraordinary abuse of power."

However, the Bravo executive denied the allegations and clarified that the video was a poorly delivered joke. In his words:

"The video shows Kate Chastain and I very clearly joking to Brandi. It was absolutely meant in jest, and Brandi's response clearly communicated she was in on the joke. That said, it was totally inappropriate, and I apologize."

Following Glanville's misconduct allegations, McSweeney came forward with a lawsuit against Cohen and Bravo. As reported by The Blast, she alleged that the TV producer "engages in cocaine use with Housewives that he employs."

McSweeney claimed Cohen was known for giving "the Housewives with whom he uses cocaine more favorable treatment" and "[makes them appear more agreeably [in] edits [of their shows]."

She also bashed Bravo for creating a toxic workplace fuelled by substance use and disregarding sexually inappropriate conduct. However, Cohen refuted these allegations through a letter written by his lawyers.

Cohen's lawyers argued that McSweeney's allegations were false and demanded that she retract her claims of their client's "purported 'cocaine use." In their letter, the TV producer's reps wrote:

"To be clear: these allegations are categorically false. Mr. Cohen never used cocaine with any cast member on any Real Housewives show or with any other Bravo employee."

"The absence of any reasonable basis to make such allegations is confirmed by your pleading itself," they continued, noting that McSweeney's made baseless remarks to garner media attention.

The lawyers stressed that the former Housewife was spreading "false and malicious lies" and demanded she see the error of her ways. In their words:

"We demand that you issue an immediate public retraction and apologize to Mr. Cohen. Every day you fail to do so only increases the damages suffered by Mr. Cohen."

During a March appearance on American Addiction Centers' "Addiction Talk," McSweeney addressed her lawsuit against Cohen and Bravo. As shared by The Blast, she stressed that this legal battle wasn't an evil agenda, saying:

"As hard as it is to be going up against a very powerful entity, and for people to maybe also just not agree with me or, you know, come at me and get blowback and all the things, I don't care because this is the truth. I have it on my side, and my intentions are really good."

According to McSweeney, she chose to stay positive and remain in a "good place" despite the criticisms. She believed people attacked her because it was a "deeply ingrained thing to push back on women" whenever they shared their truth.

The media personality noted that sharing her bad experiences on the Bravo show wasn't aimed at offending those who enjoyed watching the show. "It's still not an enjoyable experience to have people coming at you or be dealing with the situation that I'm in," she confessed.
