Britney Spears was in her British era as she went "woke up like this" from a London hotel room while rocking only bikini bottoms in July 2022. In photos taken across the pond, the 42-year-old singer stunned her Instagram fans from her bed as she posed in a very skimpy look, quickly making headlines for her scantily-clad display as she lounged around and pulled fun facial expressions. Posting only a few months into her now-ended marriage to ex-husband Sam Asghari, Britney had fans assuming that the personal trainer and rising actor had taken the snaps, ones now sitting at over 300,000 likes.

Looking fresh-faced and delivering a neutral expression, the "Circus" hitmaker flaunted her slender waistline as she peeked her booty, rocking nothing up top and wearing only a green pair of snakeskin bikini bottoms.

Sporting bangs as loose strands of hair framed her face, Britney matched her vintage, green pendant necklace to her swimwear, wearing barely any makeup as she showed off her natural beauty, then going rawwr with a smiling grimace as she played with her fans in the next snap. Lying down fully to close her gallery, Britney rested her cheek on the bed in her closing photo, looking toward the camera and showing off both her slim back and her lower back tattoo. "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT," a caption read as Spears added three red rose emoji.

At the time, Britney still had comments to her IG enabled, something she's since revoked. "Does she look sad here," one user replied. Many more comments came in as fans expressed concern for the star's mental health, with a further fan writing: "Your eyes say so much sadness and be broken... your soul is reflected in your eyes, the facial expressions, the look... Britney has a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. While the star has repeatedly maintained that she's in a good place, fans continue to worry for her wellbeing.
